Rudiwidjaja Hartono, 11 Sep 2009I have upgraded my Iphone 3 GS software to 3.1 since yesterday.
Luckily i don't have any prob... more everyone has problems if you hack what ever it is cause your doing something that your not suppose to be doing the OS of the device
like when my psx had a mod chip
it was fine before the mod chip and then after it started heating up and spun slower for the disc rotations
but that was the side effect of the mod chip
same thing applies for hacking
it's running an OS that not from the manufature itself so you don't know how it will react when it's installed

gman163, 11 Sep 2009for those who have updated is there any difference you have noticed???After I updated to 3.1, I noticed that the accelerometer works even faster than it already was. I also noticed that email is more stable and loads faster. Maps and compass have also improved.

I have upgraded my Iphone 3 GS software to 3.1 since yesterday.
Luckily i don't have any problem like rundom shutdown and short battery life.
I bought my UNLOCKED Iphone 3 GS directly from officialy Applestore.com.au.as i tested with another SIM card is also No Problem
with my UNLOCKED Iphone 3 GS.
I hope in the future don't have any problem.
My son have 3 G officialy UNLOCKED, he is waiting for Upgrade, since in this Forum and Twitter the new Iphone Software 3.1 have PROBLEM.
Maybe the UNLOCKED has problem, if we make JAILBRAKE UNLOCKED ??

Cause after I receive calls and then finish them, I have to go BACK into the application and start it up. Ii will resume, but that's not multitasking. Pausing an application and backgrounding it whilst calling so that when your call ends, the background app comes back. THAT'S multitasking

and it takes screen shots of things and then loads them up that's why everything on the iphone is simple and lame no color cause it takes quicks SS and then the phone processes everything after
and as for kinetic scrolling and what not
iphone has 5 scroll windows and you don't have to scroll so often but in the music player that's totally different cause it only loops 5 so if you scroll to fast it lags and crashes

Just a question because it confuses me, what multitasking do people do with there phones when they talk about it??? cause my idea is two things or more at once ie, ( listening to music, whilst sat naving(gaming) and then answering a phone call)

Can you pull yo... moreJust because it has more games and is portable doesn't make it better. It only does in the DS and PSP's case because they are REAL GAMING MACHINES.
