I also did it twice. Inititally i also had problems...but when i upgraded again to 5.1 Lollipop within a gap of 15-days, it's working fine now.
BUT REMEMBER.....IT WILL BE LITTLE SLOW.

Hello, firstly I have updated to the lollipop update in the month of Sept I think, after that my phone has become too slow but recently around 2-3 days back I have updated to 5.1 lollipop and it is superb, speed is also almost equal to kitkat moto e and the features are nice, for the 5.1 android it took max 60mb of the internal memory but for 5.0.2 lollipop it consumed almost 500 mb of internal memory.. So I suggest u to upgrade it to 5.1 lollipop.

Hi, I updated Moto E to Lollypop 5.1, good feature and looks smart however all functions are not working as fast as these were on Kitkat 4.4.4. In short phone is working very slowly as compare to earlier...

Android Update only by official update when system update allow officially u got update great **0 good features with lollipop bt only 1 disadvantage after update the 1080px videos can't be play -_- !! N u need maintain always ur storage internal capacity.

I upgraded my moto -E 1Gen with Lolipop 5.02.., Looking Good But Lot Of issues will occurs my suggestion is not to Upgrade.. it's waste of Time and money and Data.
