i downloaded the update and then when i clicked on install the phone restarted and started installing the update but when the update was nearly done phone phone showed a sad smiley face and the it switched off when i restarted it it started showing the gears again and then it switched off and again and again i don't know what to do please help

You need to put phone in proper mode before doing any update. There is a procedure that you should follow. The WPRT is made to recover bricked phones... and there are alternative resources to flash the phone if you search the net.

I recommend u guys, DO not go for it unless u are a rich person who has got enough money to buy another phone. The wprt is not a gud tool and it has got enough bugs. You guys search the windows central forum for news related to wat iam saying. There are a lot of people who are facing this issue. And Microsoft has never helped them. I was told to pay 10k indian money to replace my mother board. Wow...

your phone got bricked...don't worry its easy to recover...download windows phone recovery tool..and install it on ur pc .. start it..connect your phone to pc and follow the instructions in recovery tool...

rajveer, 04 Aug 2015Worst update windows 10 for Lumia 730.Dear that is not update, its just a trial version, full update is still pending. The one you downloaded is for developers and has bugs wait till its official announced.
