when will the zen phone 2 launch in india.
oh cmon! no manila,philippines?
Anonymous, 14 Feb 2015Have you ever noticed why don't top-end HTC phones(M9, M8,626, 820, 826, etc) do not feature ... moreThat's because Mediatek's goal is to deliver High performance at a mid range price comparing to its competition. The "mid-range" HTC devices powered by MTK are already near high end but for a fraction of their flagship prices. If the Zenfone 2 will be priced from $200-250, it would use a qualcomm SD410 of SD615, or an MT6752 octa, or an intel z3560. Most people know that both the MT6752 and intel Z3560 out perform both the SD410 and SD615. The only way for ASUS to deliver better performance using Qualcomm chips is to use SD800 or higher which would make the phone cost at above $300-350. Not unless Qualcomm lowers it's pricing.
Can i order now here in the Philippines

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2015Have you ever noticed why don't top-end HTC phones(M9, M8,626, 820, 826, etc) do not feature ... moreFor exemple HTC give Desire 820 with snapdragon s615 and Desire 820s with mt6752...and guess what : mediatek's version works far better (see a vietnameese video on youtube!)
On entry level, mt6732 kill s410...CPU one and a half better, GPU twice better!
On mid level, mt6752 give a better CPU, better multicore management and about the same GPU performances...
Even Vellamo benchmark (published by Qualcomm) show that kind or results! By far!
Antutu, geekbench, 3dmark...all give better results...
Make some research on internet, you will ne surprised
Qualcomm keep a better GPU and better 4g on high-end.
If you chose s410 and s615 instead of mt6732 and mt6752…it's a mistake!
If you chose s8xx for hardcore gaming, OK that's a good choice!
France and Italy mentioned but no UK?!?! Please...
I'm prefer an Indonesia lunch with Snapdragon
exact date for release in the US please!
AnonD-233508, 14 Feb 2015I don't know why some people hate Mediatek chips. Don't you know that HTC uses mediatek chips ... moreHave you ever noticed why don't top-end HTC phones(M9, M8,626, 820, 826, etc) do not feature a Mediatek SoC? The simple answer is they aren't good enough! A octacore SoC will be at par with a SD comparison.
Give us a windows variant too, and add a pen.

SD is the better one
When ASUS ZENFONE. 2 arrives in
INDIA???
i hoped it comes to india by
March....
AnonD-363596, 14 Feb 2015If Asus gonna launch only Mediatek version in India,I wont buy it too, very poor decision taken... moreEven I will not going to buy its MediaTek-variant. I'll wait for Intel based ZF2 or the Snapdragon!
What month can release that phone In the Philippines? And how much?
AnonD-363595, 14 Feb 2015I don't understand the company's logic behind adding a SD as well as an Mediatek variant. The ... moreYeah, I agree with your comment. But in India, 4G connectivity is there in metro cities. And the best news for Indians is that a telecom company Reliance is on the way to provide 4G services in many cities of India, even in small cities. Soon they will start the network (according to them, they will start 4G services in March in metro and big cities and nearly from May in small cities).
3G service is popular here just because currently we don't have much 4G networks... but soon there will be so many, as AIRTEL has already started giving 4G services and Reliance is on the way, as I said. :D
AnonD-363676, 14 Feb 2015When ASUS ZENFONE. 2 arrives in INDIA??? i hoped it comes to india by March.... Please u... moreIntel based ZF2 will come in April and no information about MediaTek variant. I'm just thinking why ASUS did that partiality by not thinking to release its Snapdragon version in India. In India, there will be most of cities will be having 4G network and even now there are some cities in India where 4G network is found. Reliance is on the way to start its network and after that most of cities of India will be having 4G network.
vill , 14 Feb 2015in mediatek processor ...don't buy ..(Why, I bet you know nothing about mediatek chips, if you did you wouldn't blow them off. You're just repeating what you've heard others say in order to sound like you know what you're talking about... you don't.. and they don't either. You wouldn't know the difference between a Mediatek or a qualcomm or an itel if they slapped you in the face.
Anonymous, 14 Feb 2015I didn't see anywhere ASUS made mention of SD 810 SoC as their Qualcomm chips of choice,prob... moreNo way they go with a 410 or 610 chip. It'll be at least the 800.
