If they release mediatek based SoC in India ... With Zenfone 2 ... They would be seriously in super big loss ... Intel is the one which is being the reason customers are primarily relying on . I hope they dont make this foolish step or else they would gain nothing here in India

There was anticipated release for zenfone 2 in India either Q1 end or Q2 beginning but it seems we the indians are not important Customer for ASUS & may get in Q3 with some stupid modified specs.
Better to look for other brand.
Now on xiaomi redmi 2 16gb variant is on top in my desires which would be definitely in sub 9 or 10k range.

Highly disappointed,was eagerly waiting for this but see what i get shitty mediatek proccessors, very wrong decision by asus by neglecting emerging markets like India.Their earlier zenfones were highly successfull here,zf2 too would have but very very poor marketing by asus.
Now waiting for htc desire 826.

I am big fan of asus. I have asus router,laptop,mobile.
but if they release zenfone 2 with mediatek processor they will lose market in india. So pls dont release zenfone 2 with mediatek.

We need intel z3580 only ,with 4gb ram with radio,no mediatek pls.this is your wrong decision to bring mediatek with 3g capablity,4g is going to be launch in india till june in pan india & till march in delhi ncr + 15 major city .so it doesn't suit to asus, you will launch mediatek version with 3g capablity only in mid of the year coz LTE is not prevailing in india .asus kept in mind that india doesn't have LTE .that is why might bring mediatek. it would be wrong decisoin of yours, india makes the compnies BIG its not dumping place plsss!!!!!!!!

Asus should at least release 4gb ram version with Intel soc in India because if they choose mediatech chipset in India then they will not survive in india(quallcom soc will work good)

India is one of the biggest market for mobile phone brands like Xiaomi Oneplus Samsung Sony etc. If Asus Zenfone 2 (much hyped to pit against big boys) is released with mediatek Processor it will be treated like a cheap china phone. Instead of seconds it will need years to clear up their stocks in India.Oneplus one was sell out like Xiaomi phones because they did not skimp on hardware. The mediatek powered phones are not sellout in India like the qualcomm powered ones. Here customers are very tech savvy.

If you get Mediatek in India this would be a big mistake from Asus.
If this would be qualcomm 410\615 in India; this would still sell.
Best option would be get 1+1 instead of asus......
