ammu, 13 Feb 2015can anybody clear my doubt ?? In India which version is going to be launched 1. Intel atom or... moreit will be mediatek version in India not Intel version. from what this article claims.
i dont think if they launch mediatek versions in India they will get much sales like last generation of zenfones. people have more options now as they have snapdragon 410 versions which cost less than 199$ price quote and in India price will be around 240$ with taxes and duty

This is some strange news. I don't think that this news came from reliable source. It doesn't make any sense. How would mediatek compete with same model. Even zenfone c is more powerful then mediatek variant. For Qualcomm I understand cause of broad support and because qualcomm need money bad because of China drama 1 billion. But mediatek doesn't make any sense. Hope they don't screw this up, ASUS GET A GRIP. They already stated that Intel z3560 2gb ram 16 GB storage 1080p would cost 199$ for that configuration. If they change anything about that then its false marketing which is a felony. I think they will use mediatek just because its in same country and mediatek is kissing ass to Asus to use their chip

Finally asus on right track , i never bought asus phone just bcoz of 'intel inside' . Everyone knows intel based device frequently crashes or become unresponsive in many apps so just away from intel
Plz do this asus-
720p 5 inch ips screen, 2500-3000 mah battrey, dual sim, atleast 5 MP camera with 720p or 1080p recording with flash,
Mediatek 64bit quad core cpu 6732,1 gb ram , 8 gb internal
Sell this on 100$ and this will sell like hot cakes
Intel guys hv right to troll
