Any cpu can be as cool as you want with thermal thottling, the magic is to have full performance and still being cool.
I'll only buy a S810 galaxy S6... These other exynos based are just BS...
If Samsung doesn't produce S6 with S810 then we'll buy flagship's from other manufacturers with S810 chip...
Snapdragon is just reliable and performs better than any other mobile chip...
I don't care if the exynos gets the highest score in benchmarks... it's plain useless when it comes to daily usage and performance...
Snapdragon is the best
If anyone actually read the source, Qualcomm themselves did they test and they did it inside a PC Gaming case..

This means all the phones that come with SD810 will use throttling to control heating problem. Those phones have QHD screens and that means throttling will result in huge drawback on the performance of the phones. Just wait and see.
Force Majeure, 14 Feb 2015Clock Frequencies? Hmm 28 nm vs 20nm vs maybe 14 or 16 nm chips? Anyway I'm more interested in... moreYeah... 4.7" 720p I wish there were more phones like that. Don't forget it should have more than 70% screen to body ratio. We have only Galaxy Alpha and Moto X (first gen of course). Motorola could re-release Moto X with the same size and better guts, but of course... its never happening since some people nowadays crave for 5.5" 4K phones.
Haha they achieved those with throttling. Sore losers!
AnonD-4254, 14 Feb 2015I just don't see the purpose of this test. Obviously 810 is faster and better performing, s... moreDude this is just to show the world that Samsung has been lying to the world that SD 810 overheats so much that they want to not use it in the S6
AnonD-349743, 14 Feb 2015Wow you are a terrible person.Samsung is a terrible company so.... ;-)
AnonD-23465, 14 Feb 2015I always had belief on Snapdragon. This is a tight slap on the face of Samsung.I will always ch... moreActually since Galaxy S4 Exynos chipsets are always better than Snapdragon chipsets. Exynos powered S4 is better than Snapdragon 600 powered S4 and Exynos powered Note 3 is better than Snapdragon 800 powered Note 3.
Anonymous, 14 Feb 2015It's fault of blogs forwarding nonfunded/outdated rumors if SD810 looks bad so far.
But if fi... moreits not that bad but still the exynos would heat fastly making you give your phone some rest every 15 minutes of gaming.... meanwhile i would still play asphalt 8 on max and after 30 min its still 40*c....
believe me in this case the duration beats the performance
they should try clash of clans when testing gaming they will know 61 degrees celsius lol haha
Clock Frequencies? Hmm 28 nm vs 20nm vs maybe 14 or 16 nm chips? Anyway I'm more interested in a Snapdragon 808 mobile with 4.7 inch 720/1080p screen, with a BIG 3000+ battery.
Folks should check out a comparison between a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Snapdragon vs Exynos. It is on YouTube. Exynos actually was HOTTER but graphically is superior to Qualcomm's and surprisingly battery didn't dip as fast seeing Exynos CPU was only clocked at 1.9 Ghz vs 2.3 on the SD800. Exynos is very, very good for gaming (sans Gameloft) and power efficient.
I always had belief on Snapdragon. This is a tight slap on the face of Samsung.I will always chose sd over any inferior chips out there.Bickering people can skip this monster.
Anonymous, 14 Feb 2015What doesn't make sense is the reliability of those tests :
what devices have been used f... moreWhole 2 min?!
Ahah, theres a samsung for ya...
Other flagships do to that 5 min limit, xperias record to 12 minutes...
So buy another flagship from that lying unethical, partnership-backstabbing-for-profit oriented company called Samsung...
I Hope that exynos of theirs burns up their entire factory by overheating
