Well fortunately in Indonesia, Microsoft Devices aka Nokia always selling an unlocked phone. So i bet this Lumia will coming for all carrier. But, that's in Indonesia. I don't know about other country or region.
Make it available to all carriers and make money.
Adding to my comment (1st one in the trail), I'm just trying to say that MS will price ridiculously anyway.. so why not make it a value for money from the end-user's POV. Afterall same chipsets, (seems like design's also the same).. you've gotta give them something to own this apart from jst the OS upgrade.
For all the those people who didnt understand my last comment, I'm not saying that SD400 is slow for Windows, its just aging everyday.
Wonder if both LTE SIMs will be live or will it be like the existing 3G SIMs one falls back to GSM??
If the camera is really good and the price is right, I might buy this device

Lumia 930 has SD800.
Why not SD600 on 830?
Even if they choose SD400, that is clockable up to 1.6 (8228,8628 and 8928).

Lumia 730DS/735 and 830 have same chipset (8926). Equal Screens,Same amount of Ram and Accesories.
Why i must pay $100 more just for slightly improved Main Camera?

However I'm pretty sure the SD600 would fit much better in this upcoming phablet, even the SD800 should be cheap enough nowadays to be considered as an option.

answer, 16 Feb 2015with windows OS it isn't always required to have such fast cpu and also sick of the phrase "doesn't need faster CPU". it's true sometimes but you don't need to advertise it everywhere, I own a low end an Android as well as a low end lumia, both are equal in terms of smoothness.

What's wrong with you, MS?
Why are you putting old SD 400 everywhere?
Why not 410, 610 or some newer?
Why?

How long would Windows phones just keep emplying SD400 & SD200s ?? Come on guys.. there are a lot better chipsets around now. If you are releasing new phones, bring something new with them apart from just the OS upgrades.
