Even if this is true that doesn't bother me. I was so impressed with the improvement on the battery life of the Note 4 even thought the battery essentially remained the same, that I wont be surprised if the S6 will a greater battery life than the S5, even though it will have a smaller mAh.

I dont really care about mah- customers usually buy products without taking care of all the specs. For me the only thing what matters is how long can I use my phone. If samsung can do miracle and they do not need as much capacity this time, then Im all good with this. I dont care if its 1 mah or 5000 mah on paper. How many hours? Can it last two full days? If yes then I will buy it, if no then the battery is weak for the power needs.
On the other hand - a smaller cap battery can be charged quicker with the same charging current - so yeah it might as well come good for all of us. I imagine a phone which can be charged 50% in 18-20 minutes and can last a full day with that 50%.

well as article says its just a rumor.
I belive it will be 3000mAh, but IF it really will be just 2600mAh i hope Samsung have a good reason for smaller battery
