Hope uncle Sam will not make the same anti-ergonomic mistake that apple does to its iPad bezels (thinning out the vertical sizes which are for firm holding of the pad while viewing portrait).

Who cares about Tablets being thin? See the iPhone 6 Plus. Thin, but too big for it's thickness, and had which had a weak point that causes it to bend.

I hate that home button. Samsung has increased the quality of many things on their phone but that stupid home button!!!

Not as ... fat as an iPad (better for movies), nor as narrow as 16:9 tabs (great for reading).

16:9 for phones and 3:2 for tablets I say.

tito73, 16 Feb 2015if as laggie as my t705 galaxy tab s 8.4 inches lte,...can avoid the production! Now they won't use a crapdragon so you're safe. I generally don't have much sympathy for those buying Qualcomm I mean it's as if they chose their problems, but this time around I think you were just unlucky. Samsung was releasing two hardware revisions yet gave them the same name (tab s). So, manny ended with a crapdragon, and as a expected their tab s crapped its pants.

I feel for your pain (or rather ... lag) brother ... don't worry samsung finally gave the finger to Qualcomm so we're home free!

16:10 is the best especially for 10.5. We can read the whole page and play almost full screen movie nicely. 4:3 is moving backward.

4:3 seriously? Nobody wants 4:3. What happened 16:9? 16:9 is perfect for watching movies and taking photos. 16:9 is the logical choice.

Both ipads and android tablets are toys for kids. A real tablet is one with full Windows 8.1 (not RT).

4:3 aspect ratio is better on SAMOLED since you don't have the annoying LCD backlight bleed when watching 16:9 FullHD movies like on iPad Air 2.

Why aim for thinniest, the tab s models are beautifully thin enough with great battery life, dont sacrifice that just to try and compete with ipad, in my view the current tab s models are much nicer then ipads anyway so focus on other areas instead, better chipsets, bigger storage, maybe shrink the top and bottom bezels a little.....not that they need it now but not much else to improve
