I'm sure if this is real that there's been a mistake someplace, as I don't think Nokia is going to release something as high end nowadays with tri-band support, as every chipset for newer smartphones/high(er) end dumbphones is quad-band...

the design is exquisite, but from the pic point of view only, we still need to wait till GSMarena has it on hands test. the finger print magnet should still be the main problem, n i bet it will cost around 1500 US$ at least. damn u could buy a decent laptop with that amount of money.

and the fact that s60 9.1 is fine since they have FP 2
and now 9.4 is still being explored by everyone like sony and samsung so they don't need to abandon anything thing cause other companies are using the touch UI for their phones

Yes i say it again it's ugly, what about it a chrome metal case with a pad and a small OLED screen running symbian big deal. Nokia should abandon non touch screens already

Oh my God, seriously Nokia designers, u really blew it this time with this phone, the round octogonal shapes make it very ugly, so this what it was supposed to be the next luxury phone from you, i hope u pull some learnings when u print this in the round executive table and read it, not that the direction of your new luxury phones should turn to touchscreens which u obvsiusly do not intend to release out in any models, but this is nowhere near in beauty like 8600 Luna or 8800 Arte (keyboard was jamed one piece at another), not to mention s8000 or i890 omnia hd.

Does this mean that Nokia have faith in S60?? and made it more stable? There is no way that the target market for 8800s will put up with relentless software updates required for Nseries (a la N97). I have a 6700 and find S40 does all i need it to and havn't needed a software update. Might give it 2 months after launch before i splash out on this!

it's probably going to be announced in october...not relesed like gsmarena said ... if it's announced in october, then it's possible that it will eventualy be released sometime in Q1 2010

Nokia has weird thinking, I guess this phone is meant for celebrities or high rollers that would want to show off. The cost of this phone would probably be 2-3 Omnia HD. It's like, having a company making computers made out of gold.

I Really Really love it.
it looks really cool, has all the features and a great camera.
I'm not a big fan of getting over priced phones but I Think this one is worth my money.
