bloodtracker, 19 Feb 2015first of all, my wife and daughter have the iphone 5s, while they are not bad looking they don... moreWow. People with brains still exist.
Now is their wifi thing both wifi and bluetooth?
first of all, my wife and daughter have the iphone 5s, while they are not bad looking they don't perform like my galaxy S 3. they complain about lag and wifi cutting out constantly, most likely due to IOS8. iphones break if you look at them wrong and you have to take the utmost care as not to drop them. I would perfere a plastic housing for shock value. reason being if you drop a metal phone something has to absorb shock, and that's something apple just don't have any solution to. I have dropped my S 3 from 20 feet and not a scratch or shattered screen (with a cheap plastic case). you buy what you want for your own wants and needs and im a android person. I have looked at the iphones and wasn't impressed. in my opinion I believe iphones are for simple minded people who don't like technology as iphone don't offer any. I have skipped over the galaxy S 5 due to I wasn't impressed, and if the S6 is not impressive I will keep my S 3 until the note 5 arrives.
Anonymous, 18 Feb 2015so you are saying that S6 thickness 6.9mm + the camera bump will equal 7.3 in total? how did ... moreNo! What they were saying is that 7.3mm is thicker than 6.9mm therefor there is more room.
And on top fo that there is a difference. Sony's is in top left above display. So they can use the thickness of the whole device.
Samsung's is behind the display in the middle and in a thinner phone.
Tbink before you bash.
-Ok. As far as screen size being about the same size, that's a good overall. Its a phone not a phablet. Plus it will be QHD and boast improvements in efficiency, brightness, accuracy, and so forth.
-For battery it will have to have at least a little better endurance than the S5. More powerful and efficient display, SoC, memory, UI, and theoretically radio. However 0.1-0.4mm thicker would ave given much better battery. If it lasts longer on smaller battery imagine on a bigger one. Plus it will have faster charging and wirless.
-For the camera yes it may be 20mp or may still be 16mp. Either way it's an improved one. It's in house so a newer and improved Isocell with OIS. Plus they made some big claims on how it's it improved.
I'd still rather see a larger sensor wiith larger pixels, but I doubt it. It should however beat the Note 4, improve in ffocus and low light, and be among the top.
-About 3GB ram. Kind of dissapointing. And what if it's only ddr3? While that. Plenty, fast, and great....it's a let down knowing they have 4GB LPDDR4 ready. The lesser ram was the only real hold back on S5.
-We all know about the Exynos 7420 beast. But soon we get to see GPU set up and whether they have their own modem and if it's on the SoC or on their combined radio die. And GPU is probably Mali T760MP8 at about same 700MHz.
Plus this means Wolfson DAC and we will see if they put more effort in it and it's potential later on.
-And almost for certain the new eMMC 5.1 UFS memory chips that opperate 3-5x faster at 40-50% less consumed energy. Now will it be 16 or 32GB base? Aand will 64GB exist? And they don't have 128GB eMMC 5.1, but will they offer it in the prior memory chips or later?
-Sadly still seems to be single speaker and moved to the bottom like on Note 3. But will it be as good or better than the one on the Note 4? Note 4 is rated between 82-85DB. If it could be at least 78DB or as loud, but with more bass and maybe a little more range/fidelity it will be respectable for a single speaker at least.
-And of course we all know it will have a metal frame. Hopefully similar to Note 4's which is one of the best looking. Should retain IP rating. Will it still have a removable back though? And usb 3.0?
JD, 18 Feb 2015You really dont know what u talking about Child!!!! Restricted? buggy??? U feeling alright? Or... moreLol! You call me childish for making a factual reply to you fan claims. Then come out with more.
You actually question the restriction? Lol that makes it almost for certain you are purposefully trlling for kicks.
I have been using iOS for years just so I would know what I'm talking about. Yes its buggy as heck which any unbias user will tell you. All others besides the 6 experience moderate to heavy lag.
Anyone who uses iOS knows its apps crash a lot more. And for those who don't there has been plenty of studies. Or you will hear someone using their idevices complain about it.
Jailbroken now does everything like Android? Even jailbroken you are still tied to restrictions that you don't have on a stock out of box Android.
Lol. You make up all that and yell like a crazy person and call others blind and childish.lololol. have you even used an iPhone?
Jegg, 18 Feb 2015The comments on here are always so cynical, no one you owes anythingAgree!

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2015Could you tell me where did you read that the micro SD card is going to be in the bottom? You ... morethere will be a plate for the that will provide an option to have either a dual Simcard or 1 simcard+SD card... It was posted here on GSMArena
Small battery, but it looks like Samsung's confident in their new Exynos and whatever software improvements they've done to make the battery last.
AnonD-365140, 18 Feb 2015It IS going to have a micro SD slot. Bottom of phone. Read.Could you tell me where did you read that the micro SD card is going to be in the bottom? You have micro USB, speaker and 3.5 head set jack on the bottom oh yes and a microphone
Anonymous, 18 Feb 2015Think before you write! The camera of the Z3 is in the corner, there is probably more room to ... moreand why they put it in the middle if the corner is a better place to fit a camera< im thinking befor writing, what an excuse lol
Anonymous, 18 Feb 2015Think before you write! The camera of the Z3 is in the corner, there is probably more room to ... moreCOrner? Whats the shape of your phone? Octagon? LOL
Anonymous, 18 Feb 2015Then HTC one M9 is your phone, 5" 1080p screen snap 810 2800 mah battery, best efficiency Not with the overheating 810 on an 20 nm fab.
Where are they getting that it's 16MP vs 20MP? The MP isn't what bothers me, but the 20 would be a brand new in house developed sensor to be paired with the 7420. 16MP I feel like they're just bringing over GS5 or Note 4s sensor. Also the bump to 20MP would give better lowlight performance as the sensor would most likely be 1/2.3 vs 1/2.6
