Asus Zenfone 2 goes on pre-order, pricier than expected Comments

Asus mentioned prices before taxes as follows - Zenfone 2 2gb $199, Zenfone 2 4gb $299, and Zenfone Zoom $399.
Am not going to believe in any 5" leaks or false 3rd party preorders till Asus comes out officially with detailed info.
Where is the link to the preorders? Just yesterday, we heard a lot of the 5-inch Asus Zenfone 2 leak.

I was considering the Zenfone 2 as my next mobile but if Asus will release the phone at more than 400 USD then I might just apply for a line/plan where I can get the Galaxy Note 4 Octa Core variant.

Asus almost faked their new Zenfone 2 prices when they announced it at CES_2015 .. They announced Zenfone 2 (5.5" 1080p device) and prices they announced was for some other device, showing this 5.5" 1080p device on front ..
That's not gonna give them a long run benefit !!

One phone we are all waiting for, and suddenly the price did surprise us all. If they go ahead and price it at 300 $ or more, they might actually sell less than half of what they could have sold if they priced it right. I was waiting for this but $440? No, sorry Asus, I'll start looking out for another one. I hope your good business sense prevails while pricing it in India.
