It's phones like these that have led Sony to fail in the market. They cannot when in the low-to-mid priced smartphone market dominated by Chinese manufacturers who squeeze every dollar from their margin. Their operational investment to produce so many different models in a saturated market has really taken its toll. May as well throw that money in the rubbish bin. Just focus on the Z series and leave the low-to-mid end market for the Chinese OEMs before you go bankrupt.

This was upsetting customers as their model feels outdated so quickly, a manufacturer can't be this silly/senseless. Unreasonable pricing at launch which always comes crashing down rapidly, pathetically low memory on some of their models-512 mb ram, 4gb internals. It was pretty weird that Sony simply kept repeating silly mistakes. But I would still like to Pray that it somehow does not die and survives to becomes a Sensible handset maker! Plse Sony underatand that your fans love you, don't make us Cry!

disagreeing with the sony abandon the market for tvs and smart phones, because sony no manufactures devices of poor quality, but devices with long durability.

Sure, Xperia is a good phone(if not the best), but Xperia Z1 already has 20MP, and Z3 still 20 MP. Their flagships look almosy the same in many ways, not much room for improving its specs since Z1 released.

Bundling unnecessary/useless apps on phones which can't be uninstalled!

Specs are OK for midrange device.
4 GB internal memory is just misunderstanding; it would be 8 GB with 5 GB usable , benchmarks aren't always accurate. I think Sony learned lesson and definitely will not launch phone with less than 8 GB. Look at E4, it has 8 GB.
If entry level phone has 8 GB, than we wouldn't expect less storage in devices standing higher .

in last 4 years I have used 5 Sony phones and I am in complete love with you! you rock Sony!

This is a real midranger of 2015. But, 4Gb of native storage?. Maybe the storage was 8 GB, and 4GB User available. Should be 16GB atleast.

4GB of onboard storage sounds a bit low considering the other high mid end specs.
