And Ultra Pixel camera. Aka very large pixels and wide aperture are great tech. Just too small MP/sensor.
Had they improved the compression software, kept OIS, and bumped up to 8 or 12MP. Maybe more. It could have been a great camera. But they kept it, took away OIS, and that purple fringe is too common.

S3user, 20 Feb 2015Touchwiz is not smooth. It does lag whatever you say. Cyanogen mode works great on S3 ALL phones lag or have hiccups. This is a place called reality. There is no such thing as perfection.
Cute the way you named yourself to make that reply though.
Regardless of what you reach for in denial what I said was factual. And what you said offers/changes nothing to my addressing that persons bashing and non factual claims favoring bias.

HTC has been better in most, but not all low light scenarios lately. Though that had to do with aperture and 2UM pixels. Both aspects probably not being as advanced this time. Though we shal see.
And you didn't comment back on features and functions.
Yes it's long, but because there is that much info and that much wrong with what you have said.
Though just like I said in the first one it's sad that there had to be that much written just to make the point for you. Especially when you would probably not read or accept most of it. Which you did just that. You skimmed a lot and ignored/contradicted in favor of your bias or to dodge being wrong.

However they are clocked higher when it's just them and without the more powerful cores to rely on. Like 2+GHz.
So they definitely beat other A53 and A7's in performance.
They offer great performance and 64bit compatibility.
Plus they are very efficient compared to the A57's.
So they offer good consistent performance, just not the best. While having very good power efficiency.
Though yes the 7420 will have a good overall lead.
The real question is what GPU/configuration, DAC, Modem/configuration will be used.

We aren't talking simple opinions. We are discussing what's objectively better. Nothing will be best everything. Everyone will have preferences and opinions that differ. Variety and choice are the spice of life.
But there are things that are objectively more factual and cannot be argued or changed by one's opinion.
No. What you prefer is arguable. As I already showed with detailed facts is that the Amoled has objective advantages across the board. What you prefer is not the same thing. Display is objectively far in favor for S6.
And dead pixels and less even backlight can happen on LCD. Plus HTC is well more known for death of displays and battery. More improved on that now luckily. So you claiming you have burn in does not make burn in a common issue or negate the advantages Amoled has across the board. I have an Omnia HD "first large Amoled and HD capable device". It's from early 2009 and still has a flawless display as far as can be seen. And they have only gotten better, not worse. You are stretching one aspect in a weak attempt to make a false claim against a whole picture. Pun intended.
Regardless of who makes the sensor is your way of dodging being called out for making a non factual claim. Apple doesn't make most parts let alone the camera.
And just because it performs well for it's size does not make it the best if it's not the best.
It's utilizing larger pixels, that are less crammed, and they have slightly better compression. Which altogether helps it keep up with others. But is not overall the best. Nor made by them.
The display is not just more efficient. It's most likely A LOT more efficient. And die size/efficiency play a HUGE roll in battery life. Those two alone could account for considerable more battery.
So a MUCH more efficient display that preforms better in most ways, more powerful SoC that could be a lot more efficient while throttling less, combined radio/modem chip that could be more efficient and even more so by die compression, flash memory chips that are 3-5x more powerful and 40-50% more efficient, and possibly software and others.....Can all add up to a HUGE DIFFERENCE.
Especially if the MAH difference is only 240. That is very small difference in comparison to the other aspects. All those things add up a lot more.
Obviously it's not set in stone....None of this for any of the RUMORED devices is. Duh? But logically and with what's known efficiency favors the S6 more considerably more so.
There is one thing though. If they do use a Mediatek it could prove to be comparable in efficiency for Soc. And we don't know how efficient HTC has made everything or all that they used.
DAC. Well then you should say something about you not knowing. Just like I admit that HTC has stereo speakers, many choose it's design, and that everyone has opinion. And of course that this is all rumor so it can surprise us all in the end.
You shouldn't just go through debates ignoring what you don't know or are wrong on if you are going to pursue everything you feel like saying and think you are right on. It's rude, selfish, disrespectful, and generally shows lack of related knowledge. Especially when you dodge/ignore when you are pointed out to have made false claims/mistakes and/or are mostly using bias.
Though it's common knowledge that Wolfson DAC are about best in phones. Of course we don't know which SoC/SoCs HTC is for sure to use or combined with which DAC for sure. And technically the DAC still has something to do with output quality of speaker too. We know the M9 will have stereo speakers upfront again. What we don't is how much improved from the M8 they will be. And how good the single one will be on the S6. You will most likely get deeper fuller sound from M9, but could get louder and cleaner from the S6. Add equal or better volume of the Note 4 speaker with more bass and you have a very respectable single speaker on S6. Even with water protected membranes over the speakers the Z3 matched M8 in volume while producing better clarity.
My money is on the objective facts and whats well known common knowledge from the past decade. Is there a chance the M9 could have a better camera? Duh. Is it likely....No.
Again. If Samsung uses a new and improved home brewed Isocell sensor it will have Phase detection and see improvements in OIS and low light from the Note 4. Which is one of the best cameras in a phone at all available. And it's possible to that either of them could be utilizing larger sensors and/or pixels. Lets hope both do.
And they already made large claims on the camera improvement. None of these companies except apple make such dry claims.
Again I'm just going off relevant and known facts. HTC has never matched/beat Samsung in camera.
However HTC using a Toshiba sensor like Nokia does could prove interesting.
And Samsung's do not look very processed. Plus you are forgetting both may have the ability to shoot in RAW with Lollipop and large sensors. And that 3rd party cameras usually use less compression.
And who makes Sony's memory? And most others most of the time? Samsung. And what do prior memory chips have to do with what I said?
I said the S6 is most likely to use Samsung's BRAND NEW eMMC 5.1 UFS memory. Which operates 3-5x times faster with 40-50% less consumed power compared to ALL AVAILABLE memory chips.
This last one on memory "but not limited to" especially emphasizes how you barely read what I said and have not kept up with the latest news to know what you are talking about. Just replying so you can say only what you want to and only to support the bias you want to believe.
And no. I'm speaking from a logical and objective point on what's known. And using this to correct and respond to someone else's bias non factual claims.
Huge difference from you just saying whatever you want based on your own opinions and ignoring any facts I give or mistakes you have made.

Is Mt6795 a big.LITTLE chip like the MT6595 or a homogenous 8 core chip with A53s? I tried searching but could not find anything out there. Even Mediatek's official documentation does not list the type of cores.
8 A53s is not great to be honest. It will have single threaded performance on par with Cortex A7 based chips, which is pretty average.
I am waiting for Mediateks big.LITTLE chip with A57 cores and a Mali gpu. That will give the SD 810 a real fight in terms of performance

I have, and it's jarring, to say the least. There have been times where I just wanted to toss my phone. Personally, I prefer IPS. It's arguable because I say otherwise, ergo making it an opinion, an opinions are what? Arugable.
Regardless of who manufacturers/designs the camera in the iPhone, it's superior to every smartphone camera because it produces comparable results to flagships with 2/3 times the megapixels.
Flash memory? Well, it's been proven by Phone Arena that Sony phones has the best flash memory, far exceeding the performance of its competitors, including Samsung, so no, Samsung phones don't have the best memory.
I didn't acknowledge the claim about it having a better DAC because it's not debatable. I never use headphones, though, so it's not important to me.
I'm aware that AMOLED is more power efficient, but the smaller battery might give the edge to HTC, regardless of die size and disppay efficiency. Until results are posted, it's all conjecture.
We will see then, won't we? Your money's on The S6 on having a better camera, and mine's on HTC. I personally don't like the oversharpened, artificial look that Samsung cameras tends to give pictures.

The objective advantages of Amoled in brightness: maximum and minimum, contrast, sunlight, saturation and accuracy, white point, blacks, power consumption, angles, and so forth are not. Fact.
Features/Functions not arguable. How much you personally use or care is. Touchwiz has always been the most productive UI. Not even just things like Eye scroll either.
For instance in KitKat Samsung still provided uses full SD function and ability to move app data over.
Their Gallery allows for moving/copying/editing files withint itself.
Multi Window. Plus things like Group Play for things like playing music and videos across multiple devices. Free commercial free radio service with Milk. And ChatOn is one of the most advanced messaging apps. Though it's also available for anyone on many supporting platforms.
So it offers more features and functions. And many people use them whether you do or don't.
And despite the hate talk Touchwiz runs very well even on the S3 and has seen major advancements in the S5 and Note 4 especially. And will be further enhanced now.
Memory does not only apply to ram nor is just saying the word memory usually applying to ram. And we don't know which ram either will use. Sadly neither are probably going to use 4GB DDR 4. Might use DDR4 3GB.

The smaller battery is supposedly to accomodate the thinner 6.9mm body. And rumored 2840MAH is only 240MAH bigger.
The S6 will have more efficient display: Note 4 at 5.7 inches QHD Amoled consumes up to 40% power compared 5 inch 1080p LCDs like M8. The S5 LTE-A QHD had nearly the same battery life as the S5 1080p. And the S6's display is 99% guaranteed to be more efficient that all three.
Also more powerful and efficient SoC, the UFS memory, most likely to use their new modem on combined radio chip to save energy, the UI is getting more and more refined and efficient, and possibly other aspects.
So the S6 is logically more likely going to have better battery life.
And you ignored the Wolfson DAC part.
The S6 is more than likely to have better camera. S6 may have a 16 or 20MP.
No rumors or logic say that HTC's will have larger pixels. That's wishful thinking just as much as I wish for the S6 to.
Thinking the M9 has a high chance of toppling a Samsung camera "something they have never done let alone matched" is hilarious wishful thinking. Though it may still have better low light.
Apple does not make camera sensors and their cameras have never been the best performers so that statement is completely bogus.
Samsung indeed makes some of the best sensors and what's going to be in the S6 is likely to be an improved home brewed Isocell which reduces noise, will have better OIS and low light compared to Note 4, and will most likely have Phase detection again. And they have already made some large claims on it's improvement.
You love replying just to hear yourself bable random bias don't you? It's sad this much has to be written out just to make a point you may not get or care to read while you spew random bias.

The memory will be the same, both will be using DDR4 memory made by Samsung; battery of the S6 is slated to be smaller by 200mah to accomodate for the reduce width (6.4mm), whereas the battery of One M9 is expected to be 2840mah, so it remains to be seen if you're correct; the s6 having a better camera remains to be seen as well, because they both will have 20mp snappers, and with HTC having bigger pixels, there's a chance its camera will topple the S6. Samsung doesn't make the best mobile cameras, Apple does, but it takes rival competitors to add more megapixels to achieve comparable results, which is sad. I'm betting money that the HTC Camera, with its bigger pixels + 20MP to accomodate for details, will be superior.

1. 5 inches is perfect in your opinion. Not for everyone. 5.1 in a less wide and more slender body is overall better....You fail.
2. Bigger battery will not be 3,500MAH. Keep dreaming. And just larger capacity alone does not mean immediate win. The S6 will have multiple more efficient parts like display, SoC, Memory, radios, UI......You fail.
3. Stereo Speakers is a plus. Though the S6 will probably be louder. You got one right. Congration you done it.
4. S3 on Touchwiz runs really great. Note 4 is one of the fastest devices......You fail.
5. Touchwiz negates 14nm? That's cute LOLOLOLOL....You fail
