Abstract art my not look good to most but to some people it floats their boat. Alot of people like extraordinary things (whether its pleasing to the eye or not) and this is extraordinary!!

Premium? Its got a tiny display, very poor spec list and is butt ugly, I would not pay $50 for this phone!

The idea of this phone is really revolucionary, but its design could be much better. Since the idea of this phone is transparency (pureness), its body should be made of a transparent material like LG Crystal. That dark solid coverage is really ugly

SE is like Apple, they rip people off.
Same goes for HDTV market, Sonys LED LCD TVs are the most expensive on the market yet they are not the best in terms of performance.

It's not for the masses, only for those that have the money and like to show off, without caring about advanced functionality.
Think of it as a sculpture with basic/limited phone capabilities.
It's not meant to watch 1080p HD videos, or browse a website on a 4" screen.
If you don't like it then why the hell do you come here and comment? Just for the fun of it? Do you think someone will pay you for trashing a phone that's not meant for normal people like you?
You all like to say how ugly/useless it is. If that's what you think about it then WHY come here and talk trash? And, even if you dislike the phone, you can go about it in a less rude and bad-mouthed way.
Some of you seem to have never been properly educated. And I'm not talking about your english, but how you use it.
Some of you should be ashamed of your narrowminded view, which coupled with your seriously bad manners are a sore sight to my eyes.

Who wi... moreand SE Satio wont be outdated because its the only smartphone with 12mp camera. as for Motorola Android phones, SE will bring Xperia X3 with Android 2.0 which supports multi-touch, other specs: 8mp camera, 4.1" display, 1ghz CPU ....

Positioned as an exclusive luxury handset, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness won't be distributed via the usual retailers and carriers, but will only be displayed in high-end stores and boutiques with a price to match - running around 600 euro.
Xperia Pureness will be promoted "as a work of art rather than technology" and as revealed now Sony Ericsson will position the phone as an "iconic niche product, not mass market".
Xperia Pureness will be sold in design-museum shops and high-end stores such as Selfridges

You guys talk like you're all rocket scientists and build transparent screens or holographic projectors in your basements. Personally, I also wouldn't pay 600 euro for this phone, but I have no problem (if need be) to pay 600 euro for a hi-tech smartphone. In this case it's a matter of status because it's not everyday you see a transparent screen. And I bet that if someone would show you this phone, you would fight among your brainless friends that post "SE sucks", "SE fail", "ugly phone" to try it out:-P

Who will buy this over Nokia 8800 or Motorola Aura or Vertu ... And Sony Ericsson doesn't ROCKS this much this days... Even Motorola camed back and invented something NEW powered by Android OS and very good for teenagers and is not expensive ... By the way when Satio come out ? Until it winn came out, 12 MP will be something normal ...
