But still, I would trade in for a better screen to body ra... moreI hardly ever use my phone's external speakers to listen to music. I, like most people I suspect, either use headphones or external speakers when playing music or movies.
Personally, I would much rather the phone be an inch shorter. Of course I wouldn't object to hidden speakers that didn't diminish the usability of the phone or subtract from its visual asthetic.

anonymous, 22 Feb 2015I fell in love with the old m9 render and I don't like this...but definitely it is one phone to buy Me too!
I need a new phone to replace my 3+ y/o Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and based on the render with hidden side speakers, I was ready to buy the M9 the day it comes out.
Now, ho-hum...
If this photo is truly the M9, the tired old design w/ front-facing speakers and the familiar but hideous large black HTC logo band below screen, I think I'll pass.

I don't think these pics are real but the specs probably are. The phone will look like an evolution of the M8 which is not bad at all. Again samsung will be the crappiest with its phone. It's a sinking ship, LG, HTC and Sony all make better phones. Even the Chinese OEM's doing better. Samsung is a sinking ship, and it's unstoppable.

Looks just like my M8 with a different camera. I don't believe it's a legit picture of the M9.

Fake IMO. The clock font is weird and, more importantly, the 3 buttons are not updated with the lollipop look.

I dont think these are real. HTC has said they have put wrong information out. Also the fact that this looks almost exactly like a M8 only with a protruding camera. Samsung was burnt by that strategy on the last galaxy. People didnt see the point to buy a new phone when it is indistinguishable from the previous one at first glance.

all that was problem was camera and they have kept same design and still one thing left if it is a battery power house with this thickness or not, if yes, i will say yes to HTC
