Agree that could look better, and resemblance to m8 is obvious, but under the good are some big changes: bigger battery, faster processor and better camera. Depends on sw I'm gonna see if I will buy it or not.
Both m7 and m8 look very good.

The mockups of M9 looked way more better. That's what it should've been.
I hope these aren't the actual ones. If these are then HTC's screwed for 2015 too.

Poor HTC!
It will be the only major flagship without a fingerprint scanner, at the time of the first major wave of NFC payments.
After using the FPS on my 6+ for paying in most stores I visit and for easy unlock, I wouldn't even consider a phone without FPS.
Otherwise, it looks like a good flagship, it the camera is up to expectations. But no FPS, no sale for me.

Me too have to agree. There have been some nice concept images. My Samsung Galaxy S3 has just gone SDS on me. But Instead I ordered an Xbox One. Because I will wait to see what the new Samsung and HTC is like. I will be watching closely like a hawk the livestream on March 1st both Samsung and HTC.
If any of them take my fancy I will be save a month or two to get one. They probably won't be on sale until nearly a month later. Sony may have plans to do their own launch event away from MWC and all the heat from everyone else like Samsung and HTC.
I don't think Sony have sent any kind of MWC invitations at MWC but I may be wrong. They could be there for other reasons other then the smartphone. Sony could be sticking to their "release a flagship every 6 month" plan including the Z4. So its possible we could also see a Z4 pretty soon too.

Unfortunately I must agree with the comments posted regarding the looks on the article. It looks too much like the (M8) and I hope HTC is not going in this direction. On 10 Feb 2015 you (GSMARENA) posted an article under the heading "HTC One (M9) Wi-Fi module and 20 MP Toshiba Camera tipped" with an image (photo) of the allegedly two phones, HTC One (M9) and (M9) plus. I really hope that these images are closer to the truth than the current image. Much nicer phones. I currently have the M7 and my contract is coming to an end in four months and I'm hoping to get myself the (M9).

This had no different as M8. Prev... moreWell, I think HTC one, just like Xioami, Asus, Lenova and LG, has really nice design. The problem is that there is not much improvement when it comes out new model. But M9 is the first HTC flagship to sport 20MP right?!
Well, I think more improvements have to be made...so I still prefer specs of S6 as of now.
