DRAM is the standard for consumer goods.

Cause, unfortunately, everything more expensive is (despite better) is not being bought by the consumer. They want cheap crap, buy this crap and whine that it is not what they wanted.

Samsung has technological infrastructure that Apple or other smartphone makers like HTC or Sony don't have.

Samsung has technological CAPACITY to manufacture its own chips, RAM modules, displays, etc.

Therefore Samsung will also supply these to other smartphone "makers" like Apple. Apple is just a marketing and designing company. Samsung is the true advanced tech company.

Apple, HTC, Sony... they're all technologically incapable of mass manufacturing chips, RAM, GPUs, displays, etc. Because it takes several years to even make 20nm chips... it's simply inefficient to invest in the technology now because it would take Apple at least a decade to catch up with Samsung.

So Apple is investing into Apple cars...

And Panasonic might have just trumped all phone cameras.

Samsung is the Jack of all trades and master of few.

Samsung sits in every device. Waiting, silently. And people think they buy a certain brand.
