AnonD-59657, 24 Feb 2015Still lacking far far behind Apple Watch! How about exceptional battery life. Do we really need another piece of equipment that has to be charged daily. The smart watches available now have to be charged daily at least. The Apple watch, according to initial reports won't fare any better.

Far cheaper than Apple iWatch and no doubt far superior battery life (had seen a post to say that the Apple could only manage a few hours before needing to be recharged). Love the fact that I don't need to worry about recharging my current Pebble. I don't need to worry about removing my watch in the shower or pool. I find it really useful and like the prospect of the microphone and colour screen. Would have liked more screen and less bezel and personally GPS for running so I don't have to take my phone with me to properly map a run.

Probably the worst looking smartwatch I've seen so far. I'm the owner of Pebble Steel but I will definitely not "upgrade" to this ugliness.

IMO a Smartwatch doesn't do anything better than a Smartphone. Thats why Pebble Time has few advantages like:
                1. Standalone Device
                2. 7 Days of Battery, better screen for outdoor usage
                3. Cheaper
                4. Seperate Hardware Buttons (Your fingers don't get in the way while navigating on that tiny screen)
                5. Rugged
                6. Supports all recent Smartphones
                7. Decent Functionality, Fitness Tracking and at a Glance Timeline which is what is expected from a smartwatch

Are Smartwatches necessary? Absolutely No! But this watch fits the Niche better than most do..

I would have bought it if it was compatible with WindowsPhone but that doesn't seem to be the case unfortunately.
