Unworthy to call M9. Is is only minimally upgraded M8.
Those huge bezels and black bars was my turn to other brand.
So, things not changed with M9.

Noooo! Looks like legit, because of video leaks... I'm disappointed. So, what we have: HTC M9 - I'm pass, Samsung S6 - hate their TouchWiz, Sony Z4 - too huge. So I'm looking at Meizu or Xiaomi.

Lets not be so gullible here. They are not in the business of shooting themselves in the foot. You can't pre-order a case for a phone unless it's design matches http://www.spigen.com/brands/htc/htc-one-m9/htc-one-m9-case-neo-hybrid.html

A lotta Lotta ppl expecting a major improvement to the physical look of the M8...not just the same face with a slight change in the back. Yes the specs have been improve...but u don't see these. The Question is...is this most resent render or leak a decoy??? My gut tells me YES...for HTC's sake I hope it is. Because if not, then despite their good effort..the

HTC has said multiple times that the space is used to house the antennae and other connectivity aspects of the phone. It's kinda hard to do it elsewhere when the rest of the phone is made of aluminum, which is damn near impossible to send a signal through. So there's gonna have to be "empty screenspace" otherwise known as a bezel, which is present on every single phone on the market. Quit complaining about such nit-picky things and appreciate this phone for what it is: a quality handset that everyone any true HTC pundit would gladly buy three of.

It clear htc has no more bullets when it comes to innovation...now waiting for the south korea giants s6 and G4.

I was going to switch to this but if this is the design I am very disappointed where is the innovation come on htc. htc Get rid of that annoying black bar already.

disappointment. that ugly black htc bar still remains. it looks just like an m8, only with an ugly, square-shape camera on the back.

Utterly disappointed. I've been loyal to HTC since 2008, but if this is to be the M9, they may have lost my support. I've gone from Touch HD to Desire, Desire HD, Sensation to One M7.

I didn't buy M8 because it just felt like an iteration of M7 and not worthy of an upgrade. I doubt I'll buy this, not unless it goes on sale... I believe it's the consumers role to keep their merchant in check by only supporting them when they have truly followed what their customers' have been saying. I don't mind the black bar, it served a purpose, but with Lollipop featuring on screen buttons now there's not a single HTC fan you'll find who doesn't believe that bar is now redundant. This is only one of a few things I think MOST will unanimously agree upon.

HTC got 4 days to get their sh!t together before sh!t hits the fan. If this is the final M9 then, at best, I'll root my M7 for Sense7.

Might stick with HTC for one more year at least to see what happens with their sportswear collaboration cos I love training and more direct integration is still a win, but in my opinion they're at serious risk of crashing and burning if this is all they could muster after 2 years, especially after all the hype they've built up this year!

By now all the renders and leaks confirm that the HTC black bar the at bottom stays. What a disappointment. It ruins the otherwise good looking phone. I am turning my attention now to S6. Hope it lives up to its hype.
