I was really leaning towards the One M9, but I cannot stomach the imposing black bar. HTC hasn't learned...

If this is it, then IMO Samsung will have a winner this year. This design is already dated and it doesn't have a fingerprint sensor. Render which EVleaks posted looks much better than this..

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2015Screen to body ratio is rubbish.Like the rest of us hope, the black bar has got to go. The M8 is such a tall phone for a 5" display cuz of the speakers and black bar. Just did some research and the m8 and the g3 are the exact same height. 5.76" but the g3 is wider but also thinner. Crazy 5" vs 5.5"

So, it's confirmed: No fingerprint sensor.
HTC makes good phones, but they always manage to screw up the details.
Without a FPS, watch the M9 sell even worse than the M8 as mobile payments explode this year.
