Anonymous, 18 Sep 2009I know that apple heaters will blame me for saying this, but let's face it, it took 2 years be... moretotally agree with you. I guess that next iPhone will be at least 3.8-4 inches. Or maybe Apple will go for a new "king size" iphone :) that would be great. In this case HTC Leo wouldn't be better then iPhone, and iPhone would be number 1 again :)
finally Capacitive touchscreen and at least 4 inches!!!
now I will have really difficult dilemma to choose, keep my iPhone 3GS or buy this one:) hmmm....
I know that apple heaters will blame me for saying this, but let's face it, it took 2 years before someone came up with a truly competitor (or even better) for iphone. It is quite hard these days to come up with a technological innovation that stays on top for almost 2 years. I think we can all agree that we can learn a lot from apple. So apple is number 2 now. Let's see what they will come up with next.
Competition is good for the consumer :-)
This is certainly the direction to go in, how can you get a better phone, although would like to see dual boot android/winmo or maybe even a symbian option if all three could work side by side, is that technically possible?
all specs are awesome!!! except batter which is a let down... even smaller devices has 1500 mAH but this giant device has only 1230... please htc at least pack it with 1500mah
Saurav, 18 Sep 2009Yup, a phone is a phone and it should have a limited size, nowadays the big screen phones are ... moreoh haha! I finally got MG's point when he said anything above 3.5 inches shouldn't be considered a phone. LMAO...
Well guess what? The world couldn't care less for what you perceive to be the standard of phone size. They'll keep pumping out good phones over 4 inches and hey, there's pretty much nothing you can do about it.
In the meantime, let's do lunch.
MG, 18 Sep 2009Nice phone, but in my opinion, anything beyond 3.5" is too much to be considered pocketable. ... moreYup, a phone is a phone and it should have a limited size, nowadays the big screen phones are getting popular like the Iphone,i8910,N97,Touch HD and now this monster. A device above 4'' should not be considered as a phone, it's a notebook or something like that. So this one is not a mobile phone, it's a mobile device with phone capability.

pls add stylus and a slider key pad and this will be the greatest phone everstylus !! why do you need that ?? even SE X2 and Omnia i8000 which have resistive touch-screens dont need a stylus, so who needs a stylus in a capacitive like this ??
@ everyone here:
DONT MAKE STUPID QUESTIONS/STATEMENTS/REQUIREMENTS
Well it should be upgradeable to win 7 mobile and its perfect proportion screen size for ebook reading
Why no Dual SIM
pls add stylus and a slider key pad and this will be the greatest phone ever
Nice phone, but in my opinion, anything beyond 3.5" is too much to be considered pocketable. HTC HD is an acceptable size, but this Pro Three crossed the balanced line that HTC HD has.
a detalied preview
Anyone who likes a huge phone, will end up by buying a phone which looks like a piece of big glass. Even the iPhone is a piece of glass. This is what I like in a phone, I like it to be a big screen. If we try to mix the design with a big screen, we will certainly have a phone of 1 kilo, I don't know if they can one day mix a nice design with a huge screen like this. The big screen is always dominant for our eyes. As for the OS, I can't judge until I use this new HTC with my hands with its new fast processor running under Windows mobile. I still prefer the OS of the iPhone, it is fast, no crushing, no freezing, etc..
Why I comment? I really like to have a 4.3 inch in an iPhone:)
I hope it charges while surfing on the pc. Every cell manufacturer is moving to the micro usb connector and as far as I know you can't charge through it. This will make all these power hungry cellphones landlines.
