Why are you bashing samsung? At least they provide the latest hardware and most powerful when it comes to their phones unlike other companies! Plus prices go down gradually so there's nothing to worry about not like iphones their price stays the same even the iphone 4 sells for 350 dollars!!! The S5 now is below 500 dollars and it is the 32gb not like the iphone 8gb!!!!

it will probably be subsidized for $264.99 based on current pricing on iphone 6 16GB being comparitive for unsubsidized pricing

Samsung is stupid. Will never pay that much for Sammy crappy phones. Just wait a couple of month and prices will nose dive. Like Note 4 was at $1100 retail, is now down to about $625 or so. You are one dumb company Samsung.
