Also, for those of you bitching about the flash and screen resolution - the screen's 240ppi, anything above 200 is OK in my book. Not 9000ppi like the flagships, but guess what? This isn't a bloody flaghip phone.

There are apps that will set your screen to max brightness and display pure white. That can act as a passable torch. Again, this is a budget phone and your expectations should be set accordingly.

Also, as of Jan. 2016 these are going for under $50 refurbished or used, and at that price point this phone is a screamin' deal. I'm happy with mine.

That's like saying, besides being better looking and a nympho.. why would anyone choose these chic over the other? Let me spell it out. The chipset is THE main feature which makes a phone perform and the battery size is THE main reason phones keep a charge longer. Also the Moto G LTE is more expensive.

For $150 it's only a fair deal, not a great deal by any stretch. Low resolution screen and no flash? come on. For $150 you can get a brand new HTC One (M7) at Best Buy and that phone absolutely BLOWS the Moto E away in every single category.

ano, 26 Feb 2015Once again moto will face disastet like earlier when it was washed out from the marketYa brother because people opt to buy zenfone and xiaomi product rather than moto because of specs. And moto is keeping specs for moto e3 it will definitely loose market

I'm surprised no one mentioned that the new Moto E also has Moto Display and Quick Capture from Moto X. These are great software features.
