100% fake. Samsung's official teasers videos and pictures are showing a totally different design. And they will never make their flagship look their archrival's one.
So no need to worry, let's wait for the day.. :)

You ignored it all and did not answer what compromises are there by your false claim.

I agree battery needs to be bigger. But it will be good compared to past and what's available.
And wrong. Optimizing does a lot. And it's not just optimizing. All the new parts used in it draw less power while performing better. More energy and performing efficiency.
And they could be using their new modem which could prove more energy efficient. Plus they are using an new die wafer that puts all the radios on one chip. Which saves energy.

So you keep missing the point again and again. Yes battery should be bigger. I AGAIN AGREE!!!! Batteries do not last long enough yet. But this will be a big step up from the S5.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2015So Note 1 was unibody...?I know their tests are not perfect. They work off wifi not radios/data.
So each carrier device will have different results as radios eat more battery than wifi. That and each carrier will have different speeds, reception, and so forth.

And their video test consists of 480p videos of SD

But it gives a good idea. And shows how much the devices improve.

Battery get drain in no time!

Look man.. LOOK! 3200 mAH still not enough to last a single day of heavy usage.

Even Samsung users agrees. Need removable battery back. Buy and cramp even more giant battery.. everything burst into flames for so high battery capacity!

All because of a junk OS that try to do everything but master of none.

But hey, all good. Your at least trading battery life for more features.

The only compromise in tech made is that the battery most likely will not be removable and should have been larger.
Despite the smaller capacity the device will have some of the best battery life because of how efficient it's parts are.

The device has gone through tons of performance/tech/and power efficiency updates.

Where are the compromises in that? Nothing said it won't have an sd slot or that it will actually look this set of photos which looks different from the official leak photos.

I've seen much more believable tests in another site where only a few phones make it past 10h and most of these phones have 4000mah batteries. Iphone, for example, only gets around 5 hours.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2015The thing is, batteries are far from lasting a whole day with whatever usage. So it's not enou... moreI get were you are coming from and I agree. What I mean in this case is that it will last a good bit more than just a little longer than the S5.
The display, SoC, ram, memory chip, modem, radios and chip design have all gone through massive performance and efficiency gains.
If the S5 on Lollipop scores an 83 Hour rating on GSM tests the S6 should probably do 90 hour at least.
Which is what the Note 4 got, but it could easily get more.

And that's on a smaller battery than the S5..Which I fully agree means they should have put in a larger one. Even same size one would have been a lot better still. But 3,000Mah at least would have given it stellar battery life. 3,200-3,400MAH? Chart topping.
And it still could have been 7.2-7.4mm thin at max with that.

And the only advancements in battery are quick charge.
