AnonD-367581, 28 Feb 2015This is a bit misleading as the processor Intel atom z3580 is shown as x86 architecture .It is... moreActually it's both. It can handle both 32bit and 64bit.
But that is not the real question. The real question is "Dalvik" So it's Kitkat???
And score are based on 2gb ram.
Asus has been very impressive in its low price and best quality strategy...and had been a great hit in every market...but it should maintain same plan for its future mobiles or gadgets so that the brand name ASUS will be heard all over.I hope the price for 5 inch variant($200) would be really a sweet spot and 5.5 inch variant ($270/$320) will be competi

AnonD-323104, 27 Feb 2015My Galaxy S5 SM-901F = AnTuTu v5.6.1 Benchmark = 51411Hi Sir, how much does your S5 costs?
pre-order price is too high plz decrease the price of asus zenfone 2 as same as that of 1'st announced price that is 199$
I hope the price would be 199$ for 2gb
Competition between SoCs is good for us consumers LOL.
AnonD-365074, 27 Feb 2015if 2GB 4GB version cost around $200 & $250 respectively then its ok. otherwise 300-400$ is... moreWhat do you mean by the Oneplus is much more solid? The Zenfone 2 is not even out yet and you're making assumptions. The Zenfone 2 5.5" 1080p 1.8 2GB variant will cost $200 not $300. The Oneplus is somewhat better, not that much better, and it's at least $100 more and you have to get an invite to boot!

gg, 27 Feb 2015That's a very low score given that it's only at 720p and that this chip gobbles up far more ju... moreyou do realize galaxy alpha has the same res and scores roughly the same? considering that was an over-hyped "octa" 64bit phone, asus managed to provide similar performance for lower price-which is all that matters. so I wouldn't say intel(and asus) is/will lose to sammy in smartphone market. they are simply aiming at low-mid end phones which will eventually sell due to their cost-effectiveness. if you compare it to an Galaxy A5 which costs more than 300€, even if they sell this one at the same price(it will prolly be around 270€), you get double the performance for the same price.
AnonD-323104, 27 Feb 2015My Galaxy S5 SM-901F = AnTuTu v5.6.1 Benchmark = 51411so? the zenfone 2 is still far more cheaper.
I see Android Lollipop and Dalvik? Isn't Lollipop running ART only? Weird.
About the bench i think Asus is thinking well.
720p is enough resolution for a phone (even a 5 inch one) and that makes it way faster (and probably more energy efficient) than useless 2k screens.
1080p is perfect but 720p is not bad.
I've put my 1080p Galaxy S4 side by side to a LG G3 (2k) in several different usages (picture viewing, video, and web browsing) and i couldn't see the difference in terms of definition. I see perfectly and i couldn't find a single pixel difference. So 2k is just a marketing bullshit without any advantage at all. Any. It just drains your battery faster, heats your phone easier, and lags your OS for no reason.
The screen resolution is (not only but also) the reason for the iphone 6 being a great performer in web browsing and other stuff. Asus is thinking well.
Besides that, i've used Asus' PadPhone and it runs so smooth. They do a pretty good jog in their UI and they tweak Android in a very wise way. Can't understand why they don't sell a lot more phones than they do.
That's a very low score given that it's only at 720p and that this chip gobbles up far more juice than any phone-class ARM SoC.
Can't see Intel ever closing the gap, now that Samsung / GlobalFoundries have hit mass production of 14nm FINFET chips ahead of them.
Appleman, 27 Feb 2015oh Asus faking benchmarks as well as Samsung. these figures are just bull. Whatever you say Appleman......typical apple fan trolling
