just the thing we need high powered juice eater
But this is at 720p and antutu scores vary vastly due to resolution and less due to ram... Final might be between 45-47k
nick, 27 Feb 2015Launch in india soon...hope price is nt more than 200$ for 5.5inch200 is for 5 inch model which will have mtk chip... And 200 is outside India... If same case as zenfome 6, it will be 300 dollars for mtk , 24000 for 2 ram, Intel and 30k for 4 GB ram version.... Hope that I am wrong...
Launch in india soon...hope price is nt more than 200$ for 5.5inch
if 2GB 4GB version cost around $200 & $250 respectively then its ok. otherwise 300-400$ is too much for this. better to go with one plus one. its much more solid nd powerful device. display, camera, overall performane is much better than zenfone. why should we spent more money on this :/
How Android 5 and Dalvik?
Android 5.0 "Lollipop", Dalvik was entirely replaced by ART. So no Dalvik in 5.0 lollipop. But that images show dalvik. ??? weird
intel is the king in desktop and mobile cpus, now in spartphones too
I am still waiting for this phone to land in the Philippines.
luisinhoens90, 27 Feb 2015Problem is, the Zenfone 2 won't be priced from 200 USD. It will be actually 300 USD for the 2G... moreThe $300 tag is set by a seller on Aliexpress for a preorder; there is no reason to assume that it reflects the real price of the phone once it comes out. A preorder is meant for those who are eager to click the "Buy" button and are willing to pay an extra for it to do it early. So you can be pretty sure the release price will be lower.
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2015It might be cheaper than $199, maybe $159 The cheapest original one is still $199I don't know about that. They did say they bumped up the price of the phone (around all variants), but i do hope it's around 200$. 5.5 inch it's too big for me, 5 inch it's the sweetspot really. And i really like asus and intel, when i heard that there's gonna be a 5 inch variant but had like mediatek CPU i was sad, i can't wait to see this one with intel inside.
lol .... nice logic..
You say it got 50k.. but on 720p....
try it on 1080p & 2k.... then say it aces the top scores
oh Asus faking benchmarks as well as Samsung. these figures are just bull.
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2015it still uses dalvik cacheSoo!! Dalvik cache is still required on all android OS even after transitioning on ART. Noel Carson @ TSI, Mumbai
It's not zenfone 2 5.5 inches, it's zenfone 2 5 inches with 1280x720 screen resolution
AnonD-329731, 27 Feb 2015Wait. So there's a zenfone 2 variant with 5inch display, 720p, atom z3580 2.33ghz and 2 gb ram... moreIt might be cheaper than $199, maybe $159
The cheapest original one is still $199
it still uses dalvik cache
