chinese maker can also be asus. since they are into 64 bit n 4gb ram on their phone. they are also tablet maker and worked with google before.

Huawei's market share is only so high because their phones are cheaper than the big names and majority of the world cannot afford the big named phones. If the big named phones were the same price as Huawei phones, people would get those.

And also, I wouldn't mind if the Nexus device were to be based on HuaWei Honor 6's successor instead of Mate 7's successor. Both successors would be a great device anyways.

I don't think the 2015 Nexus device is gonna be from HuaWei, unless Motorola decided to make a Nexus tablet instead. Just like any other previous Nexus' manufacturers, 2 devices per manufacturer (except Samsung with 3, the other one being Nexus 10).

Huawei did make the sexy P series and responsible for one of the longest lasting batteries found on a phablet with the Mate 2 last year and for an affordable price at $299. Mate 7 is a beautiful device. Huawei is a very good brand. I say better than Lenovo but maybe not on par with Xiaomi and Oppo among its Chinese rivals just yet. Huawei have become much better than what they were 3+ years ago.

Actually..I'm pretty excited about that because it will be a budget phone as huawei doesn't make such expensive phones but still have to be a beast because it's a nexus at the end..I think they will do their best to gain google's trust, I hope they use a 5.5inch screen this time
