IOS 8 has completely slowed down my iPad3, even with the latest update, but ok with my iPhone5s. Looks like the latest release always slows down the old devices.

Jealous stupidroids. Little dirty secret, many android phones that NEVER has an update over their lifetime. My 4 years old iPad 2 (comparable with iPhone 4s) run fine with latest iOS 8.1.3.

do not upgrade apple products, unless you have the latest. This is the way apple making you buy there newer ones and throw away old ones.

We just go to xda and download the new android rom. iOS update left out many software features on old devices so basically you are just updating the version number LOL

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2015Because it fixes bugs in 8.1 - read my previous comment. Apple: A premium product. Yea, right! To me iOS 8.x was the worst iOS from Apple to date. So Apple has no choice but to releases multiple iOS 8.x fix bugs after bugs....

Yes agreed, Apple is premium brand. HTC, LG, Samsung, Sony and some others are premium brands too.

Basically after upgrade it slow like hell, frequently hang and system crashed. So it mean you can throw it away after upgrade to latest iOS, I know cause I just throw one.

Hey Apple, can your engineering team fixed all bugs at one go? If they couldn't do it, it's time to get someone who can. Perhaps you wanna hire Microsoft software engineer's as they are good hands in dealing with bugs.

Anyone remember Steve Jobs' "Antennagate"? Where in effect he said it's not a design flaw, you idiots are just holding the phone wrong. LOLzzzz
