Matthew, 01 Mar 2015Thats all fair and well, but I think in the world of Android, specs, more often than not take ... moreActually M9 has not too bad design...
But not so much improvement compared to its predecessor...
The next thing will be watching S6, wishing it brings what we like...
hmmm disappointed!.really HTC, come on i know you can make beautiful design. This just similar to M8
Unfortunately not what I hoped for...not by a long shot...they still kept the ugly black band on the bottom of the display! I can't believe it!! don't they have a guy in HTC witch is supposed to research what people didn't like about the last model and suggest improvements for the next one???
At leat thou M7 had it too, it housed capacitive buttons to take advantage of the entire screen...
It's a "meh" for me...I mean, I'm sure it's a very good phone but it's not "wow"...

Samsung will undoubtedly line up with a QHD display, and that will outshine the M9 and if it has a metal body too, I really worry for HTC this year.
No OIS is a disgrace as well. HTC focused a lot on design, but nothing about the hardware or features... I think we can all see why.
So, so disappointed with HTC this year.
Matthew, 01 Mar 2015As an M8 owner, this is terribly disappointing.

With the higher battery capacity, improved power efficiency and better graphics, this phone should be able to game much much better, longer, lovelier.

galaxy s6 will have 5.1 QHD display and 2550mah battery, 2.1ghz exynos octa processor, 16mp ois rear camera and 5mp front. s6 edge 2600mah battery and 2.5ghz exynos octa processor. both will have 3gb of lpddr4 ram and start with 32gb of rom.
current owners of M8 .. rejoice .. no serious spec./reason to swap with M9
Old old. Same design and only camera update. Just wait for S6. It will blow away m9. :)
Vary big disappointment. if I upgraded to that it be like I've got A m8 with revamped internal so m8 remix . Not good HTC .
I am also dis appointed nothing difference is there display resolution also cannot be changed now Adams 4k display are going on in am going to change s6
Its front is almost the same as One M8 , which is not bad...but they should have changed a design of front little more like smaller bezels...only the noticeable change is the square camera glass...!
Its just a beefed up M8...!
And people say Samsung don't their designs...
Paint job! That's it? You upgrade one of the best phones in the market with a paint job? Forget the camera, forget the chip, these are not upgrades, these are catching up with the market. But to come a long way and have only paint job as the only "INDUSTRY FIRST" is an insult to the customers...
shame on you HTC, have respect to loyal customers.
I know they didn't verbally mention the M7 for the new version of Sense, but do you guys think we'll get it?
