Since this lens doesn't have arpeture control, it's performance can be optimized for f/1.9. This kind of optimization has been done for ages in DSLR market and this lens also requires optimization, just like any other.

It is beyond my understanding how Sony manages to make such great imaging sensors for other manufacturers, yet the cameras on their phones are absolutely horrible. The camera and display were the reasons for wich i ditched my Z3 compact and got an Samsung S5 again.

Now I like Toshiba ... moreWhile I agree most likely the S6 will win.
You do realize that the sesnors are in the Nokia PureViews are Toshiba sensors correct? So they can be capable.

Think a little bit, totaly different devices and consumers heading. Now you have better device than SGN4 but its SMALLER!!! Not everyone wants to wear a pan in trousers LOL I like SGN4 a lot, but its waaay too big for my pockets and if I want to wear phone outside my pants in my work bag I could buy a tablet. So think about it a little bit...

Note 4 owners most likely will upgrade from Note 4 to the Note 5 or Note 6 two years from now.

Now I like Toshiba products (my Laptop is made by them) but I doubt they can compete with Sony in optical imaging technology.
I fully expect the S6 to trounce the M9 in camera quality despite the 4mp advantage held by the HTC, remember mega pixels are not the sole contributor to a good quality still. Besides the S6 offsets this advantage by offering OIS and a wider aperture vs the M9.
That said the M9 will be a welcome improvement over it's predecessors, and I'm sure it will produce great shots.
