It could be a bottom-tier tablet, or anything else with Android and a screen. A GPS navigator perhaps? The article just speculates it would be a phone.

Nokia have so much support from producing fantastic quality mobile phone basics such as aerials,cameras,and build quality plus high quality engineering. Also most grew up with Nokia smartphones like me and loved the quirky designs and Symbian. I really hope they make a comeback.
They may have Sailfish as their O/S will FULL Android integration then fully mature Sailfish itself,,who knows.

1. The article claim this phone cames with Android, so it IS a smartphone, and a smartphone with this specification is so ridiculous. A bad joke, nothing more.
2. Nokia sell it's smartphone brand for MS to 3 years, so they can make smartphones only in 2016.
What do you think, in 2016 512Mb Ram will be enough to power an Android and the andoid apps with decent speed? (No)
As regards the feature phones, they sell the feature phone manufacturing rights for MS for 10 years.
So ther will not be any Nokia featurphone until 2023.
Sorry dude.
Admit it this news is a bad joke, or the biggest fail in the industry.

I have used 1100 for couple of years and after that my used it for another couple of years. It was my second phone. My first one was also a Nokia, but it was a used phone. Third on was a Sony Ericsson. It was great too. Fourth again is a Nokia 3110c. Used it for almost two three years. Had the maximum usage out from that phone. I had j2me music player and Operamini insalled. Which made it sort of a smart phone to me. I was able check mail with OM. After that bought Samsung Corby 2. I wasn't satisfied with it as with my 3110c, but still using it for making calls. And recently I bought a Nokia Lumia 525, the experience of Nokia is back with this phone. I am hoping to buy a dual SIM version of Nokia very soon. Regarding the OS. Other than the lack of some application Windows experience is smooth and easy to use. Thank you Nokia.

I liked Nokia 1100 moon light model. Buyer in year 2005. Then I gave to my mom she used till 2011 and while we are constructing our house one labor robbed that phone. I tried to buy the same model but I didn't get one anywhere. It was pity simple phone if once used you will fall in love with her.
But these above specification are totally different so this is purely joke and rumor.
