LeTicked, 04 Mar 2015The next Nexus should be all Sony - Nexus Compact, Nexus Ultra, Nexus Tablet Compact and Nexus... moreYes that would be ideal, as long as they don't use Sony's displays or cameras (their camera sensors are good except for the 20MP crap, but their optics suck. They should use the same camera as the Galaxy S6 which utilizes their sensor). It would also be awesome if the screens were to be AMOLED.

I don't like the idea, BUT!, i have Huawei bought for backup and it has a Snapdragon with Adreno internals. It's a very low specs phone for these days - 1Ghz with 512Mb Ram, BUT! (again) it's runs Kit Kat 4.4.4, very decent. Unlike it's fellow competitors and other Huawei models that come with MediaTek or their own with same specs and are slow as a snail. So if there will be a Snapdragon chipset, it will be just as good as any other brands.

I'm not surprised. Huawei is the most serious chinese manufacturer and Google need them for the huge chinese market.

Huawei, They really only make cheapy phones. I don't know anyone who buys their high end P series phones. I have a HTC what do you have? A Huawei! What's that? :/.... Sounds like a bad idea attaching cheap Chinese brand to Nexus. Puts me off.

AnonD-78079, 04 Mar 2015Why not Sony? they make the best phones in the market and i'd quite gladly buy a nexus device ... moreThe best phones in the market? You are trolling, right? Sony's smartphone sales is so weak that they are considering selling off their smartphone business:

htc has the first nexus in 2010,samsung had the S & LG had few

moto has the 6 which came out last year

only reason why they didnt choose sony is becuz they are on there way to bankruptcy, they have closed down there stores & cut off some of there line up (i heard they no longer make pcs)

with the chinese market rising & companies blooming, google will make a move sooner or later

huawei is the biggest phone makers in china & they also have networking stuff/equipment, so this should be a no brainer to choose them

FYI: i have had bad experience with huawei, so i tell this phone isnt going to be a high end model

Best Choice, no question about it...Huawei will be up there with Apple in a few years. Samsung will go down to 3rd, 4th ...Google can see this coming... wtg

MaxSmarties, 04 Mar 2015Very interested. This could mean a good quality/price ratio again, after the underwhelming Nexus 6.I totally agree.
