Samsung's gone mad after megapixels and touchscreens.. For me a 5 mp phone with good lens is more than enough..
Why cant they make some cool bar phones for the masses? I thinks thats y nokia rules the heart of mobile phone users..samsung going in wrong direction..

So we have to welcome this kind of convergence devices. When the price is right, no harm buying !

i don't get the idea of having a 12mp + optical zoom on a cellphone, i prefer using my digicam for taking pictures. it's cheaper and it's capable of creating much more better pictures than any cameraphones on earth.
2nd,
IINM, Samsung has nomenlature like this, SGH for GSM and SCH for CDMA.
i wonder if this site finally decide to cover CDMA phones?

Video an Digital Camera, PDA, mp3, gps, Hard-drive, phone and lot of other functions like credit card, Nacional and International Identification...
For a thing like that I will pay gratefully a lot,

Well it's just their first product with optical zoom. Camera improvements on cell phones are advancing more in Samsung then in Nokia. Nokia does have the better lens, but Samsung is heading in the right direction w/ their R&D department.

The opticl zoom sounds good but with no vairible appreture it will be worless..... im sorry but I know the nokia n86 is the reall winner here not this (just cause they put in opticl zoom) dont you know that the nokia n86 has got a proper digital zoom wide angle lense???? besides optilcal zoom will make it so much heavy and bulky, no good lense at the moment I see just a dumb lese from samsug again...

It's good to see samsung is making the right moves by going forward with their technology and it's sad to see Nokia isn't. Nokia has exclusive rights with carl zeiss and aren't doing the right things with it's camera like going with dual led flash and abandoning xenon flash, no word of HD recording, and producing phones that doesn't wow us like samsung's phones.
