What do you expect? Sony, along with Samsung, HTC and LG couldn't give two hoots about updating their non-flagship devices.

There is nothing special in lollipop. I have used it on my nexus 5 . It's like mess up and I hated it. Kitkat is simple n fine.

Guys, instead of crying and fighting here, head to XDA forum, root ur Sony Phone (if out of warranty) and install CM12(Lollipop). I have done it on my xperia M and it very smooth, battery lasts 2 days.

meanwhile, a news reported that C3 is running on Lollipop.

Sony phones which are not from the Z range are normally old and/or lower end phones - they are most likely incapable of properly running Lollipop. So you complain that you don't get Lollipop..but I'm sure that if they did give you Lollipop, you'd then end up complaining about it breaking/slowing down your phone!

why dont you understand that all 2014 devices were optimised for kitkat.you have 2 options
1.Update to lollipop knowing well that it will make the phone slower than kitkat.thats what moto did-it updated for the sake of updating.besides, motos quick settings on the pull down notifications looked nonsense.
2.keep kitkat inspite of criticism and keep the user ibterface smooth and fast.
sony did the 2nd thing.YEAH-I WOULD LOVE IT WHEN MOTO E HANGS LIKE hellllll..

"i couldn't buy a z3 because of its high price.i promise i will ensure that those who can buy will nt buy as i will bash sony like hell"

Sony never announced any lollipop update for sp, so no point in trolling.
Not gonna buy any Sony products... Does that include not even seeing Sony pictures movies or never playing on PS? Hahaha I hope you stick to your resolution!
