in Brazil, note edge is about 1000 euros (has been recently released), iphone 6 plus 16gb is about the same price (128gb about 1400 euro)

I call B U L L S H I T !!...As always, Samsung will only release their largest capacity phones outside of Korea a few months before their next predecessor is announced. Expect the 128GB version to hit your shores in Feb 2016!

You can call it up grade or down grade or no grade but there is value in an iphone that you can easily see in the resell value.

Stupid to think this is what it's going to cost world wide.
I'll wait and see how much it pops up on the Hong Kong market (tax free and grey market importing is legal) before I judge.

thenerd, 09 Mar 2015I understand Sony/HTC but not Apple, an Apple is like a serious downgradeso what stops you from using a feature phone? how do you choose between BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, Ferrari etc (they all have the same shape, weight doesn't matter to the customer, they all have windows, they all have the same engine - if you drive normally, you will not drive at max speed)? nobody forces you to choose one specific phone or brand but ask yourself this: what is Apple selling you for 800-900EUR? what are their profit margins? do you feel it is correct to spend 800-900EUR on a phone which only cost 150-200EUR to produce? what is the difference between 2 Xperia Z phones in 6 months? read about all the new tech incorporated in the S6 Edge and than compare to any other phone which is out right now. all new technology is expensive. bottom line is these two phones are both extremely attractive both by looks and by specs. if you don't have the money to buy one, cry elsewhere - there are always cheaper options.

Wow,the two edges are so dear. Having considered smartphone models usually are updated annually, it's a brave decision to own one.

Unsuccessful sales of S5 dropped the turnover of Samsung (And they omitted salary increase this year)
S6 will just kill iSamsung. Such insanely high price will just give them a golden shot (imagine the price of 1000-EURO phone going down to 700-EURO 8-9 months later; it is a real social image killer)!
People who throw money without thinking buys iPhone! That won't change in the future.

Imagine what the 128GB model will cost... Too insane, Samsung, too insane. Or most probably you'll never produce a 128GB model. So we'll likely just have a 64GB at most. I have actual 26GB internal + 56GB memory card external expansion. What's stopping your real Samsung customers from getting HTC, Sony or Apple products instead? Not very much, I can say that...

its all about waiting now .. they increase the price we decrease the anxiety ..these phone prices r getting ridiculous every year. I'd rather buy a good laptop with that kinda money. Plus these devices r used for information, social networking and playing a few games.. nothing more than that. And its not like holographic display or anything upbeat.
