$699 for a $249 smartwatch? Add an extra $300 for a $30 metal link watchband? Yeah, that's an apple product.

With people skipping iPad iterations, now Apple is trying to look for opportunities to make profit with low cost but high margin game! It might end up like iPad in few years if it becomes a success initially.

this watch is nothing special at all, make sure it doesn't see a splash of water because it would simply goes crazy. Apple produced a product which certainly done before by many like Samsung, and Motorola and just added a usual apple twist to it.
it will not sell big in my honest opinion.

The only thing i would buy from Apple is mac if widnows 10 fails and becoming rental. Because there is no other using mac os and selling it as a product except apple. Thats the only time i would spend money on apple

As i see this will not last long. One from swiss watches will surely release a watch (smartwatch) just to make a point about this stupid farse. Maybe Tissot.

Man you're so wrong about about Omega.

Omega uses expensively crafted mechanical parts and put them together by skillful craftman. So Omega watches are premium watch brand that selling at expensive price

Whereas Apple continue to uses their cheap China Foxxconn machined part and assembled by some unskillful and cheap labour they found daily outside their factory, sometimes under-age workers too. The add-up to all cheap parts & labour, Apple uses their famous 1+1+1 x 33% price policy for their watches. So,

                  US$349 = US$87.46 x 3 x 33%
                  US$399 = US$100 x 3 x 33%
                  US$549 = US$137.5 x 3 x 33%
                  US$599 = US$150 x 3 x 33%
                  US$17,000 = US$4260.5 x 3 x 33%

I think you mean Apple know how to make a smartwatch that lasts only a day and needs 2 and a half hours to charge. :D And still you're trying to justify them pricing it $10000 just by adding some gold to the casing. You are pretty hilarious. :D

By pumping the price it's about cheapness from android. This is the perfect example how stupid people buy apple products without thinking. And top of that you make comparison between apple and omega like they are even in same leauge. Wow haha. Please read about history of Omega watches just to see how stupid you are. I can't believe what i read. Ccccc

                        Overpriced garbage.
I'd prefer to spend my money on a nice Swiss watch and wear some fitness wearable.
The demo today did not justify anything esp with the likes of Christy Turlington.
The iPhone can do what the watch can, so I don't see the need for a smart watch.
I'd prefer a real Wrist watch.
