andy burgin, 29 Sep 2009Will Vodafone an Orange put there own software on the iPhone an spoil it or just leave the iPh... moreOrange won't put anything on the iPhone, Apple won't let them.

They already sell them in France and other countries.

Vodafone won't either they are also selling them in other countries.

Depending on the UK's laws you should be able to unlock them, I'm with Vodafone Australia and we can officially unlock ours.

Well I work in an o2 store, and when we talk to the reps they tell us about other networks and what they do, and from the feedback I got, they said orange were the worst for adding software thats just pointless, but I doubt they will with the iphone as no one around the world has so far from what I have seen, however I have only seen rogers/fido iphones, at&t iphones and o2 iphones, so dont quote me on it

Will Vodafone an Orange put there own software on the iPhone an spoil it or just leave the iPhone alone,an hope they do not put there own sticker labels on the iPhone as well,as O2 never spoilt the iPhone, but knowing Vodafone an Orange they will do something to spoil the iPhone

On a serious note, this could make 2010 a very good year for Vodafone. The amount of people I've spoken to who have left Voda for the simple reason they want an iphone is mind boggling! Give it time and they'll be back.

Good news that its gonna be offered to another network other than orange cause they suck, but as for o2 going down the ladder, they have 3.5 mil more customers than vodaphone and the iphone has sold less than 2 million in the UK, I dont see them going down the ladder somehow, sure sales will slow a lil bit, but thats it
