Even for 2014 and probably 2013.
So for 2015 if it is 9.9mm thick and has the same size battery a third year in a row or barely bumps it up to 3200...even 3400mah...
And counting in the fact it's a larger screen taller device...
Then yes it is dramatically too thick.
Of course this is could be a false rumor or typo.
But if it's going to be 9.9mm thick it better have a 4000mah battery.

Looking at the picture posted and comparing with G3 on my desk. It looks like the phone is tapering quite drastically at the bottom. Its barely containing its 3.5mm jack and has a slight cut to the body to accommodate it. I think they are going for a top heavy but razor thin bottom design.

9mm too thick? Please. I'd gladly take something more normal and comfortable to hold (provided they use the space for say, battery cells) instead of the stupid race to be increasingly thin. The iPhone 6 is too thin IMO. I have no desire to hold something like that.
The G3 was by no means "fat" and it was 9.5mm. I hope they continue bucking the ridiculous thin is in trend, especially at the cost of function.

But LG's camera poor compared? It's 13MP worked decently compared to the 16MP of S5 and even was better in low light and had OIS.

And they changed the design as well as the UI in looks to mark finally moving away from Galaxy copies.

And they have other devices that go inbetween. Taking the G up to a phablet sized device was not a good call imo. Minimal bezels or not that is still a lot more screen tow work with.

Anonymous, 10 Mar 2015Hope the battery life can be batter than G3, at least double. :)They have had a year to improve display efficiency and it's the S810 so 99% sure it should have a good bit better battery.
Hopefully they don't make the same mistake again of same thickness and battery size.
