Xiaomi launches Redmi 2 at $112 for India Comments

I purchased the Redmi2 in January and what I received is not 4G LTE as advertised plus the second SIM slot is dead and the instructions are in Chinese even though their website is in English and worse still they did not reply to my e-mails to resolve the problem since then. Also you cannot download from Google any apps!This same problem of language also applies to the two other items I bought. Is this not cheating the clients?

i don't know why peoples are mad about "redmi 2s" when there is a better phone available in same range 6999 "lenovo a6000"

Point is that they have launched 1GB version, although the company promises that it will launch the 2GB version soon... Question is why would people buy now ... rather wait for the Enhanced edition Or buy the moto e (2nd gen) OR something else... People might have regret regarding their purchase that if they buy 1GB version now and soon 2GB version just after a month... Xiaomi is asking for lot of patience from their customer with the limited availability of phone stock.... Mind games...

The best part of this upgrade over Redmi 1s is that Xiaomi managed to fit a 10% larger capacity battery in a body that is 16% lighter, along with shedding a few mm's in dimensions.
Frankly speaking, Redmi 1s was way too large and bulky for its screen size.
PS. Hope in future Xiaomi brings in some devices with 14nm chipsets like the upcoming Exynos ones. Apparently it will be tough for Xiaomi not to use Qualcomm as the latter holds some stake

In out of india its comes with 16Gb and 2gig of ram.Well the costing in India is very less, the same phone was launched in Indonasia for aroung INR 12k, so I dont think they are doing anythuing wrong, also they are not denying the other 2GB RAM version but it will be released later

There are poorer peoplr in the world you know, not everyone can afford an Iphone, so respect people, and dont compare a $112 phone to a $700 - $800 (even higher) phone
