I am just waiting for this to come out and I will be grabbing right away! Samsung took themselves out of my running by not allowing a removable back and battery..... and no SD Card??? Plus with all their sealing it isn't even water resistant... The battery is a deal breaker for me as I would like to have this for more then two years.
Then the HTC which many people have mentioned... good design... but theirs is exactly the same? I am not going to complain as it isn't bad... its just... boring. I like the curved display! If I could have any phone right now it would be the Moto X, but it is a generation behind and won't be updated until the fall....

Yeah im kinda dissapointed aswell..lets see if they can convince me when they luanch it..LG is leaving the way open for htc and sony...really i still dont see how they will sell 10 million with this disign and plastic built..perhaps ill go with sony..i love seeing slim phones.

I have the LG G2 and am still sticking with it unless the G4 is spectacular. I don't know if i'm going to continue with LG anyways. The S6 avengers looks interesting to be honest.

LG cancelled the LG G Pro series, which was the phablet series of LG.
The device that you're talking about is the new pablet series.
So G4 will be the flaship phone, and that new device wil be the flagship phablet from LG (competitor to Note 5).
So if G4 will have curved screen, then it's a deal breaker.

Disappointed. I'm hoping that the non-final renders are not even close to the actual device. 'New design' must be some kind of marketing strategy. ...that, for me....doesnt work. I'm still hoping LG will impress me. I'm going to have to start to seriously consider other devices. (Not Samsung nor HTC)

If you thought that the G4 will be the only highlight release from LG in 2015, you were wrong. At a press conference during MWC 2015, LG's CEO of mobile business, Cho Jun-ho told attendees that his company is prepping a device for the second half of 2015 – a device that will be positioned even higher than its G-series lineup.

The curved screen.. I guess it won't be too bad since it's such a minimal curve, would help on sunlight and glare reduction. The G-Flex is just way too curved for me!
