George, 13 Mar 2015No waterproof? just take a waterproof case...there are so many cases out there so if want th... morebut i don t want to buy an waterproof case. in fact i never bought a case for any of my phones. that s why i chose s5 over g2, iphone,htc...cause it s waterproof. i don t want my heart to skip a beat every time i take my expensive device near a water source. also i don t want to buy the active version or whatever it is called since it s bulky and looks like crap. i like my phones slim and stylish not bulky and painted camo green or some other crappy pattern/color. that being said i'll just wait and see what sony has to offer this year. in case sony doesn t deliver anything good i ll just keep my gold s5 another year. maybe next year sammy will do better.

My point is that instead of actually discussing our points on various mobile tech issues/devices etc (which I assume we all have some degree of interest in,why else come to a site like GSMArena in the first place), idiots these days just throw those stupid tag names at each other.
Don't by the way flatter yourself by thinking anyone is 'throwing a fit' over your saying 'bad' things about Samsung.

Ios is all about restriction and trapped, u can't go to other platform cause u already invested too much in that platform. All your data (ie. Music, app, etc) will be lost. And complicated, most of the time connect to itunes is needed. Unlike on android (despite the same using cloud storage) you could easily snap usb otg or use bluetooth, nfc to share datas from your phone. No need to bring your laptop or usb cable. People love android cause they're all about freedom. You owned your phone not only just bought it.

Apple tells us that these subsequent versions required are to add and refine features, but as a user of IOS I know first hand that they are also attempts (some successful, some not quite so) at eliminating bugs.

Ever used an iphone? iphone is the top leader of smartphones and they don't need 'octacore processor' or '4 GB' ram to run the beautiful and stable ios. Buy an iphone and I bet you will forget Android and samsung.

Seems objectivity and general discussion / critique is a thing of the past!
I am sure what I am about to say will get me labelled as a fanboy by the small minded types that unfortunately make up a considerable percentage of posters on these forums, but they now have S6 & S6 Edge models in the local Samsung store where I live.
Playing around with the S6 (I am not really interested in the Edge) I have to tell you guys that my early impressions are very good. It feels great in the hand, and boy is it fast. The camera is just as fast (if not a little bit faster) than my IPhone 6 and appears to take great shots (can't really tell just how good it can be in a store environment mind)
Am just waiting on the pricing now, If it's right (and I’m talking less than £600 for the 64gb model I would likely go for....but that's doubtful I know) then I'll probably be selling my iPhone and pre-ordering the S6.
