So basically every Samesung phone from now on will be just like the Galaxy S6: no microSD expandable storage, tiny battery powering an overspecced screen, poor battery life, non-removable battery, no dust and liquid resistance... They are removing features and charging more for a featureless phone. Smh. If this is the new Sammy I don't like it. Moto, HTC, and Google Nexus are the ones to pick these days.

Meaning they are closing their smartphone business and are opening their jewelry business. No more SMARTphones, only jewels/shiny toys for people with no brain and no self-respect

Samsung should just stick with no more than 6 model and f phone each year, namely 3 variants of Galaxy S & 3 variants of Galaxy Note, let those Chinese manufacturer conquer the mid & low end market, Samsung should price their phone no less than USD 1000 premium market.

Now this won't be the case, they've said the exact same thing before, but we still have 6-7 new variants of the S6 coming. Plus the Z, J, A, C, F series consisting of 4-5 phone ranges in each series. To top things off, each of the phones in those series will have multiple versions.

They are already tainted as a company which manufactures cheap phones as well as flagship. I doubt they can bring themselves up to HTC/Apple level.

Too late, the premium is moving to materials like ballistic nylon, sapphire crystal, carbon fibers so on....

High res displays have shown that they tax the battery life the most, so yea...... another good way to kill your premium line.

Sounds like a good strategy, but it's no use. What's good with your product when you don't give a good price for the product? They recently lost to that all-premium Apple and even if they go up, they still lose.

I hope will start to produce good phones.
