Ironically that 300 pounds Tag Heuer will automatically be obsolete, when Apple Watch comes out.
Look at Nokia, they were happily making junk phones for years, before iPhone came out. Then in a few short years .. Apple, then android changes the whole world of mobile electronics. Making any phone more then 2 years a ancient device.
The same thing is gonna happen to the watch keeping companies. All of them should be on their toes, and not be caught sleeping when Apple comes in.
Sure there will always be people who like old watches and flip phones, but its always better to be save then sorry.. else you get reduced like nokia.

Time has already moved far ahead than apple and nobody waits for apple. Nowadays in $340 we can get much more better and precious devices than latest iphone in the market. So apple can't make people fool again and again.

Apple Watch will be successful, just like the iPhones.
It will lead to tons of anger, denial and confusion from the android fanboys. They will be thinking.. WHY WHY android wear is cheaper, more functions, more compatibility why is it less successful?

I have happily paid 250usd on my steel well built moto360 but I would never have paid 1000usd or even 500usd on a smartwatch that will be dated by next year.

He should have just stated that this applies to all smartwatches, not just Apple Watch.
I mean, in principle, Apple Watch provides perhaps a better experience than its rivals - not having tried it myself - but there's still no real user need for a smartwatch. For now. This will potentially change in 2-3 years as battery life improves and features become more relevant.
