First of all Android Wear has a ton of apps now, and its growing daily. As far as instagram for Android Wear, its been on Android since last year. I can pay for Starbucks coffees, and Tim Hortons as well. I can even open the apps up with my voice. So instead all you did was show the world how ignorant you really are.

Why I wasnt able to see this kind of article when sammy and company released their smartwatches? And look at how flop are they now? Seems like apple's ventures gather too much eyes and mouth of insecure people. Go praise your android wear, gear or however you call it that has no apps to boot. Just a poor and mere notification device. Atleast apple watch has the widest app to offer including instagram.

Srb, 15 Mar 2015I like and many other that the Apple watch is more a nice manufactured watch than a very funct... moreToo bad it's scarce function at a premium price if you don't own an iPhone. Why couldn't Apple make this its own thing? I guess they want you as tightly bound to their ecosystem as possible! That UI is atrocious as well, you need a pet mouse as a concierge to use it.

Agree. And apple's propaganda lately brainwash the ppl in this direction(Tim Cook's "fashion")
But ironically the last two products - iPhone 6 and Apple Watch , are ugliest in the Apple's history.
iPhone6 , though the fugly plastic inserts on the back and huge bezels on the front sell good because of the big display, that the jealous ifans were waiting for years.
But why should they buy Apple Watch for this price ? Well the most loyal fans will help Apple to sell more than the others, but it will still be flop.

-You see the type of people in the market that they are trying to venture to doesnt have that much time to waste charging a gadget.So YES such a market excest but those people wouldnt have enought time midling with this stuff.Its just the highest probability is that this exclusive watches would just fade in the dark.

The Apple watch looks good and technology ok. Battery life is to me a major killer and the price the final nail. The £200 price bracket seems about right for current and future generation smart watches that all have a very limited life span. Unless money no object I can't think of a reason to buy one of the higher end apple watches instead of a Tag, Breitling or Rolex that will last a lifetime and eventually increase in value. In fact even if money no object wouldn't buy Apple Watch over one of established quality manufacturers. For those who do buy the smart watches hopefully app developers will son enable Apple and Android users to link with whichever they choose and not have to stick with either Android or Apple products.
