Being that your average income in the USA in 2013 was just under $45,000 and even the most expensive iPhone is around $1,000 that means your average American is spending around 1-2% of their income on a phone. Yet most Americans are living on Credit Cards and live paycheck to paycheck with no savings whatsoever. Most Americans are stupid with their money, why do you think our government thinks money grows on trees, or is fine borrowing ourselves out of problems? That's what most Americans do. Either way I'm one of the ones who buys everything in cash and buys cheap phones like the BLU Studio Energy($149) and Lumia 635($40)...
