I am also waiting for lollipop update to my moto x 1st gen. I am from Yemen. When I update my moto, its updated to Android KitKat 4.4.2. Why its not update to android lollipop 5.1.
Can you help me how can I update my moto x 1st gen.

Don't get it!!! It turned my 2013 Moto X into a worthless brick. Battery drained at an alarming rate and none of the apps will open at all.

Anonymous, 23 May 2015Same here I also have MotoXT1052 and I am not getting update.. What to do?take the back up of your data to pc and perform factory reset on your device and then wait for 24 hours and check.

I got the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for Moto X (2013), early July 2015. I could feel slight improvements in performance of the phone. UI changes are also decent. Its nice of Motorola to push the 5.1 update to Moto X (1st Generation) in India.

I don't uderstand.. why is there such a hue and cry about lollipop? Its Google's latest, but definitely not the greatest. Unless you are rooting your phone and getting a custom kernel or a custom rom which is more stable, then from many aspects L is actually worse than Kitkat.
Wait for M - root, flash, enjoy :)

Motorola is getting worst at customer satisfaction, its been so long, we waiting for an update which is like supplying an AK-47 FOR Motorola people. Why so delay?????
