its not an OTA update, you have to connect your device in my case Z3c to a PC or Mac, using USB cable then follow the update instructions on screen.

They usually do another test after lolipop update with most flahship and other important phones. So you can place your bets. But I'm sure they will run it for the Z3 Compact and Z3 standard edition phones just out of pure curiosity.

I don't see a point upgrading from KitKat to Lollipop until Sony and others push 5.1.1 with fix for memory leak, and as Google is still to push that fix.. i'd say that would be another 3-6 months.. :facepalm:
