AnonD-80583, 17 Mar 2015Unbiased Comment- As far as rumors are concerned S810 does overheat. So not sure what HTC's ... moreI would not use a phone which gets so hot and hard to hold it especially when it is having a metal back. S6 is way to go for sure.... I can forgive removal battery and missing sd card support, but not overheating issue like this.

This is strictly a software issue. The S6 doesn't lag anywhere else but this one specific area.

It's not like the M9 which is lagging almost everywhere due to the throttling of the 810 processor.

Well Samsung did right , by not choosing Crapdragon 810 for S6...!
Exynos is way better than any Crapdragon processors...!

              Unbiased Comment-
As far as rumors are concerned S810 does overheat. So not sure what HTC's next step will be. Probably a software fix.
That's again bad news too much thermal throttling.
Whereas other comments are concerned -
Exynos 7420 performs better than snapdragon 810.
If all benchmarks are taken into account although in case of GPU both chips are neck to neck.
              UFS 2.0 is undoubtedly better.
So as far as internal hardware is considered Samsung seems to be ahead in the game.
As far as lagging is considered no phones seem to lag. no reports of any kind have been made yet.
A ray of hope for those who dislike Samsung maybe the Lg G4 but you have to wait and see.

mas39, 17 Mar 2015So all the Sammy fanboys are out in strength, doesn't surprise me at all, this information is ... moreIRRELEVANT!?

Are you out of your mind?

How are a noticeably worse screen than the M8 and far worse battery life than the M8 irrelevant?

Pretty awesome to see Samsung Note 4 with the lowest temperature. Loving mine that's for sure.

Hi. I can attest to the heat issues with this device, as I just got released from the intensive care unit after suffering 3rd degree burns to my hands after wielding the HTC One M9 for no longer than 30 minutes. It amalgamated with my hands and became one with my flesh. I've a pending litigation with HTC, and I'm seeking damages up to $50 million!

So all the Sammy fanboys are out in strength, doesn't surprise me at all, this information is irrelevant, will be fixed easily and will still walk all over the useless S6 and it's crap exynos chip!

                        [deleted post]The M9 DOES lag.

I'd sooner trust Anandtech than an armchair phone reviewer.

[deleted post]Incorrect. Anandtech reported than the M9 lagged and stuttered quite a bit.

The S6 only lags in one specific area: Going from FlipBoard back to main menu. This can be easily fixed, since this lag happens in only this area.

This is a very minor issue and will be resolved in the final version.

Qualcomm are failing due to pressure from Mediataek. No doubt Mediatek now make the best chips. No heating issues, better performance, lower price.

The bigger problem is the battery life. It's terrible.
